Yea. Different country, someone who has a completely different culture/background. I can never imagine myself ending up with someone who is from the same country or cultural background as me. IP: Logged |

I am Sun,Venus,Mercury and MC in sagittarus guy. My venus is in 9th house(close to MC) so i am a lot exotic, different lover  . And i also can seduce differents easily  IP: Logged |

Hmmm... well, I'm Filipino and usually end up dating white guys because:1) Filipinos are very family-centered, and close friends are considered family. I'm also a Cancer Sun. All the Filipino boys my age are really like my brothers, so it feels weird to me to date any of them. My first boyfriend is Filipino, but I didn't grow up with him. Even then, I wasn't that attracted to him physically as I was mentally. I was raised surrounded by Filipinos, but my parents didn't push me as hard as the other parents to date a Filipino. A lot of my Filipino friends are dating/married to other Filipinos because their parents did influence and push them to date within our race. 2) Being a minority somewhat limits my options of dating within my race, especially since I grew up knowing most of the Filipino families in my hometown and surrounding towns. 3) Even if I were to meet a Filipino guy outside of my family social circle, I probably wouldn't be attracted to him due to a mixture of reason #1 and boredom. I have a strong 3h/9h axis - the 9th house ruled by Gemini. I like guys from a different walk of life. Race doesn't matter. Otherwise, I'd get really bored. So while the guys I date aren't exactly exotic, they are different from me. I'm actually the exotic one. I have Gemini Venus conj Mercury in the 9th House. IP: Logged |

I have Venus in the 9th and I was only attracted to foreigners but my current bf is an average white boy.  But he is still more interesting than even some foreigners to me. I guess I'm attracted to intelligence and just people who know what the world has to offer.IP: Logged |

I hope you don't have family there...? There was a quake.Lol I knew a gal who had relatives in Japan but had no idea about the earthquake there until days later and then she was all "oh snaps!"

Just want to add that I don't have Venus in the 9th House but I have Uranus and Pluto in conjunction in the 7th House and aspected a Venus in the 12th House.I have dated and had relations with almost every major cultural group on Earth, actually majority Caucasians and Latinos, but also Black, East Indian, African, Carribean, Sunni Arab, Shiite Arab(!), American Indian(!), Israeli, American Jew, Pacific Islander (Hawaiian/Samoan), besides the East Asian group that I belong to. Venus in the 9th here. Like someone else stated, I am usually the "exotic" one. Mt ethnic background is half Puerto Rican and the other half is Irish, Swedish, Norwegian, Polish, and Native American. I frequently get the question "What are you?". I also have a random accent that is probably due to my living in Arizona and New England along with being raised by people whose first language is Spanish. I usually date white guys. I have dated a Lebanese man and a Portuguese man who both had a dark features.

Ya, I heard about the earthquake. I have family there, but they're all in Manila and Davao. I don't have any family close enough to the epicenter of the earthquake. My family is usually safe from most the natural disasters that occur. *knock on wood*IP: Logged |

Hmm...I have a 9th house Venus (and Mars) and I've been attracted to people from other countries, as well as people from my own country who travel A LOT. I wouldn't necessarily say that they are unusual in appearance though. Mostly just in personality. I tend to just like 'worldly types.' It's not really a rule for me though... However, I do prefer incredibly intelligent men, and they usually are 'different' in some way. Ironically, the first thing that most of my romantic interests notice in me is that I also am 'different' or 'unique' and I get called this quite frequently (in a complimentary way), but I am not 'exotic looking' by a long shot. quote:

I'm Moon,Mars,Mercury and MC in the 9th with venus sextile moon.Both things can apply to me. I like exotic and am looked at as exotic as well. I love for love and I believe someones love is love regardless of whatever beautiful place they have come to become who they are. It is beautiful to explore, as humans that is our purpose. Theres almost nothing a person with significant planets in the 9th house or strong sag influence hates more that ignorance in expanding your view and racism. Venus in 9th here and my relationships are usually with people of different ethnicities/races, it's true. The "higher education" aspect of 9th is probably the most applicable one though, because I always want to be with very educated people and find intelligence to be the most attractive quality... In school I always had crushes on my teachers/professors because they were so interesting, even though they often did not look good. Haha :P
