Hi LBA!
Did you use the site on the link from the OP here or some other site?

Click on "Report" to get a report that explains your SR chart. You can also see it and save it as a pdf file.

How seriously should I take this report?

Some parts are pretty specific and some parts are eye opening.

To confirm, this being early 2012 and my birthday being at the end of 2011, I should seek the 2011 report.

Thank you.

Mine's got the making of a Hollywood movie.

no, you just do the actual year of your last birthday, so if someone is born dec 31 they do 2011. if someone is born jan 1, they do 2012.

This is a really dumb questiona and pls excuse my ignorance but do I read this report in time order? I mean does the first bit 'come first' in time sequence?

Thanks! Was just reading your reply to someone else above. If my b'day was 21st Oct do I put in 2011 and read about 21 Oct 2011 - 21 Oct 2012??? Or do I put in 2012?

2011, and then on your solar return in 2012 you'd do 2012.

so a correction to my above post. if a person was born dec 31 their solar return could be jan 1 so in that case they would run the chart for 2012. and vice versa.

Not as far as I know. The SR chart is read similarly to a natal chart in that it's a map of all the energy at play during the SR year. The report goes through the houses chronologically because it's easier to start at 1 and end at 12. Whatever is going on in your SR first house is valid for the entire SR year, and so on.

That's because the ASC is determined by where the sun is rising on the horizon relative to location, like in the natal chart. In a SR chart, it's calculated for the exact moment the sun reaches the same exact degree that it is in your natal chart. Changing the ASC changes all the house positions, which will give you a totally different chart.

I've heard somewhere that the natal chart can be looked at like that -- first few houses signify childhood, and so on. I've never seen it applied to solar return charts, but who knows! It would be an interesting thing to research.

I did the karmic reports on my chart and it makes no sense! My part of karma is in aries, and my part of dharma is in aries..thats the part where you can fix the karma. My karma is my impulse of actions, yet this life is another life of impulse action, and can be fixed with impulse action..lol what?
