i have this aspect natally and i read that it causes a love hate relationship with opposite sex,and i would say this has been true in my experiences,i love women but they can really make me angry and irritate me to no end,anyone else have this aspect? and if so do you have the love hate thing going on?

I have venus square mars and I'm the same way. I find myself saying i hate you to guys i really like or love very often. My last serious relationship we would fight *literally* and the next minute we're having sex. I kinda liked it though. Sometimes i would stir things up when our relationship was calm *venus in aries* just to make up again *mars in cancer*

haha that does sound fun raina, but venus square mars is not my only problem, my venus also squares pluto and the moon,and quincunxes chiron,so when things go bad theres never been a makeup,that is if the relationship even gets off the ground in the first place,i feel as though my afflicted venus and moon makes healthy relationships with women nearly impossible,which is hard to deal with since venus conjunct the ascendant makes relationships important to me

@raina, yes i do know about the aspects and the problems they cause,but solving the problem is not so simple because the same type of girls wonder into my life and they seem so nice at first ,for example 90 percent of the girls i am attracted to are libra suns or ascendants,i dont go openly looking for them it just kinda happens, i guess its my aqua sun and ascendant and@bettyboop you have a point there haha

that's prob true because my guy friend is an extremely nice guy and he is always the one who is getting dumped or used by girls.

Maybe they are really hot? The girls he dates are hot and he kind of lets himself be pulled into relationships sometimes where there is no real chemistry

But girls who are hot are almost always craayyyzee

i love nice, sweet shy guys. I almost always had to do most of the talking around my exes bc they were so shy. Sometimes they tried to do most of the talking but they seemed so nervous and awkward and you could just tell they were so down on themselves. They would also make weird shy gestures lol like something they could not control. They were mostly shy virgo guys. but i am a cancer...i like to nurture..lol. So I actually love the shy guys. I know that most women dont like shy guys, though. They want someone really manly.

well as a double aquarius most women seem crazy to me with all the unpredictable emotions and hormones,but yes tho mean would be the better word because they think they are better than everybody because they get alot of attention

My advice to thy Venus sq Mars male.. would be:

- Women are not out to get you.
- This is not a war and women are not the enemy.
- Women do not generally set out with the intent of harming you, controlling you or in some way manipulating you.
- If you behave in a defensive manner when the person never attacked you in the first place... this gets a negative reaction from people.. and sometimes it actually provokes an 'attack'. So basically your fear of being hurt or manipulated becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
- When you come under the impression that a woman has intentionally hurt you - I think it would be a good idea to maybe count to 10 and realllllllllly think about whether it is rational for you to feel this way - before you proceed with poking her with sharp objects lol

This can be a highly sexed aspect, but can also be unfaithful due to this to.

You are also missing important elements here. Just remember planets are modified by signs, where they express are houses and how they express are *aspects*

Plus you need to look at *other aspects* these two have, that would inflame or tone down these aspects. We are all multifaceted human beings and simply don't usually 'act out' just one aspect at any one time...
