I noticed people tell me their deep dark secrets and regrets. People I hardly know some of these people. I don't really encourage this, especially with strangers. I usually just sit their silent and just listen I hardly give them advice unless they ask for it. Sometimes I feel I should charge people for this. I'm not very open with others, I'm actually a very private person, so I'm surprised I don't know if I remind people of their sorrows, or everyone is just really unhappy :PWhat aspects would influence this?

That makes sense because your Sun, Mercury, & Venus are in Gemini 12H. Not only that you have Sun conjunct Mercury, Venus conjunct Mercury & Mercury sextile Chiron which make people feel comfortable to talk to you :]

DING DING! This is why I said boundary issues. You've got the Neptunian influence with the 12th house Sun, Mercury and Venus. And then the Moon opposed Pluto thing. You also have Neptune square your Mars/Midheaven conjunction. (this dissolves or challenges your ability to assert your individuality) Both of those are boundary dissolving energies which really comes from poor self definition on your part. people are actually encroaching on your emotional and psychic boundaries by dumping there stuff on you. and while it may seem like you are a natural therapist, its not by choice clearly, and its not a balanced interaction either since you share nothing of yourself (this is the scorpio/pluto influence.) with your north node in capricorn in your 7th house, many of your lessons are around appropriate boundaries and structures in your relationships, partnerships and one on one interactions. this would me there is a time and a place for people to share their troubles with you: when you are a therapist or other type of healer being paid for your services. or when its a friendship with clearly defined structure and balanced interaction. ie not just you as the trash can.

When I was younger people would do similar things to me. They would open up their problems to me and things that ailed them. This has since stopped though. Noticed it tapered off when I was 18 or so and started to develop as a person. It was a combination of me learning to discriminate out individuals who had a lot of baggage that wanted me to fix them in some regard. Additionally, changing my demenanor so I did not appear like a doormat. Now, I am the one that teases out peoples problems. If I want to know it, I can and do drag it out of people. Many will profess to me that they often don't speak of such things with others. The difference now is I have control over whether or not I have people tell me, and I work on helping them through their problems so they don't just vent. ------------------ It's All Elemental ----- My Chart if relevant IP: Logged |

Same here GemSquared. I've a few 8th house placements, and am also pretty private, quiet, and trustworthy. I think people sense that and want to open up and confide in someone they can trust. I've heard more dirt on people than I wish to know about and often wish people didnt feel so comfortable opening up, but also glad they trust me to too.Gossip is never really juicy to me, even when it is, so i don't feel a need to share it ..... maybe people sense that - that it's not a big deal to you and so they feel they can trust and like you might be someone who could give good advice. Do you also have 8th and or 4th house planets? IP: Logged |

Guess it's Neptune/12th house works.I have similar situation like you said, it's kinda complicated to me cause it took me too much time to listen to, sometimes even absorb some negative feelings. 8th/Pluto or 4th/moon might be also work for this. But I think Neptune/12th house give people a soft, kind and tender image which people may feel harmless, fearless to speak out. Neptune dissolved the boundary between. Stronger Pluto linkage detects the truth behind things and deep side of others, which could help people with a sharp answer and might solve their problems in a short time. Trust worthy as well. Moon, like a mun-mun hug, it just creates a cozy place for people to feel being loved again. For therapist, I'd look for 12th and 8th.

Its not that i hate hearing peoples problems, sometimes it just gets depressing and then I tend to isolate myself from people. Even my parents would tell me about their problems and regrets. I noticed most of my friends do not have a lot of depth, or are emotionally numb. Mostly virgos and capricorns. I tend to attract scorpios and pisces which makes sense IP: Logged |

it has always been like this ever since i can remember! yes i do have a few 'things' in my H8 and H12. maybe NN in Aqua in H4 also has something to do with this? coincidentally i'm around people who face their absolutely final final days.in my case the 'secrets' don't cause me stress. it takes really a lot to make me care about anything! (but when i do...) IP: Logged |

Natural psychologist/therapist is 8th House energy. Being able to see through people like an x-ray, zone in on their energy and their strengths and weaknesses is Pluto. Neptune's radar gets fuzzy and confusing, but Pluto is clear perception being able to scan people and really see into them. I'm not just saying this because I have 8th House energy , but really I've seen it repeatedly in practice with friends and family. But who knows, I'd pin down the 8th house for natural psychotherapists and psychologists. I've always been able to see through people, which has always been a bit overwhelming, seeing someone else's truth is hard especially if you haven't come to terms with your own (the good, the bad and the ugly). People with strong pluto/scorpio tend to have healing powers usually the 8th house is the natural doctor. Plutonian's intensity can be overwhelming. I would be to scared to tell them my problems. I think maybe people with strong neptune seem to have a calm aura around them. My dad has strong pluto and it in the 8th house I never come to him with my emotional issues.IP: Logged |

Lol. I understand. I guess it's just a matter of preference. I have Pluto (Scorpio) in the 8th also and dominant Pluto in my chart. I do intimidate the socks off of people however that doesn't stop them from telling me their dark and twisted torments and thoughts. It does keep them from trusting me though and vice versa. I actually prefer to be around people like myself when it comes to the truth. No barring, straight shooting, not afraid to just state the down and dirty, gritty truth of a situation or person. I actually don't need sensitivity when opening up to people because I'm not trying to sugarcoat the truth nor do I want it sugarcoated. I want it raw, not steamed or simmered or spiced. But we are all different and need different things when dealing with the truth. I hear ya IP: Logged |

It's fun to read this thread. what you felt above, I feel the same, too. 12th people always need space for being alone. From my point of view, house and planet represent different energy. Strong 8th is nature doctor/shrink/psychologist for sure--humanity house. But, people with many pluto aspects I've known, they show more obsession than mental interests. Scorpion shows both. Many of my friends have pluto aspects, but sometimes they got seriously traped in life, mostly about power, money, love.... 8th people, they seem to be more calm, deep and firm(in mind), maybe 8th is a place they feel comfortable, have instincts or interested in(not sure). I feel like being seen through in front of them. But for Plutonian, guess they have to deal with their problems first. I attract Pluto and Neptune people as well, which means strong Pluto or Neptune aspects or scorpion/pisces in personal planet, they have endless life stories to talk to. But for 8th/12th people, seems like I talk more. For me, 12th is more of a therapist/counselor with empathy. 8th is more of a doctor/psychologist, great natural psycho skills. IP: Logged |

I'm a natural profiler. I've been able to get into the heads of others, regardless of whether they're in front of me, or at a distance. It's ... made for some interesting times. The usual reaction is rapid blinking, distancing, and a half-whispered, or outright-blurted: ' ... That's scary.'If someone's able to be okay with this odd bit of my makeup, we usually end up very close friends. I suspect, however, it's not easy to, and that may account for my lack of them. But the ones I have last decades. Libra Sun-Pluto in 2H; Scorpio Moon-Mercury-Mars-Uranus in 3H. Venus in 12H quintile Uranus. Neptune in 4H sextile Sun opposite 10H Psyche, exact; Pallas in 8H opposite Sun, exact. Just a rough sketch. -AMP
