It is said that Djinn (Genies) did not really have magical powers but that they recognized how to control/shift their own energies and so learned to shift other energies into whatever shape/thing they wanted. They would use a word, not that it was a 'magic' one per se, but one that meant something to THEM and was a 'focus' word. Then, when creating, they would channel all their energy to the thought of this word they believed in and make whatever they wanted appear.. That was totally relevant btw lol in my Pisces Merc way ;-) Ok.. I'll stop being Mystical Oprah and get on with it lol

I have thought of the word 'Dichotomy' but there is something too empty, hollow, and separate about that. MY WORD isss:

JUX'-TA-PO-SI'-TION:

jux·ta·po·si·tion -noun 1. act or instance of placing close together or side by side, esp. for comparison or contrast 2. the state of being close together or side by side.

It is the end result of juxtaposing things that I love so much. The fact that you may now have side by side things that, before that word were opposing eachother is a eye-welling beautiful thing to me. It is how my birth chart teaches me that it is okay to deeply, protectively, irrevocably love someone and yet learn that with love comes letting go and honoring their freewill and lifepath -or any of the other conflicting lessons it has. Everytime I can juxtapose grating signs, aspects, and houses and get them to hold hands, I cement in myself another layer of belief in the possibilities for healing in our world. If I can make peace with these things within me, how can it NOT happen in the world at large?! It's no longer unattainable, I have my own little proof to carry with me!

Once my ex got exasperated with my 'aerie faerie' views of the world and humanity. He had a mini-tirade saying, "The world isn't like that! That's not how it works! No one cares! People don't care like that! No one can love that way!" I thought about what he said for a moment and then said (very innocently at the time), "Yes.. Because I do." He just shook his head and then gave me the biggest hug lol

I think, if one can learn jutaposition of conflicting energies in one's self, one can learn to love the entire world unconditionally.

I think that it would be good for this thread to post some chart info so that we can see eachother and chart energies with new eyes!

From my POV everything is vibrations and I feel them really deeply eather mine or other's or even from plants and objects...
Sometimes it is overwhelming but as I'm getting older I begin to understand them better, to sinthetize them and they're helping me through my life. I find it hard to explain my feelings because english is not my mother tongue but I tried my best and I hope you understand what I mean.

my word is TRANSLATE

because i talk a lot, because i think a lot about the meanings of things and how they correlate to everything else, because i speak two languages fluently and that did weird things to my synapses probably, because i'm an artist and i am always translating my sense of the spiritual and emotional into colour and form

i may pick a new one tomorrow but this seems the most apt for me

I agree! I can get too 'in my head' or worried about the ins and outs of it that I throw myself off. Then I have to center myself and find my energy again and concentrate on the vibes I want to send out and just trust that my intentions are understood! I also have to always remind myself to focus on the energy the other person's showing me and stop trying to guestimate so much that I miss it!

I remember having a sooper deep talk with my good pal over FB about this...I'm kinda swimming in my South Node right now (Taurus). So, I love anything nice and fun and enjoyable. I think I said this before, but I really do relate to Dionysus: ecstasy, intoxication and parties...

But I have right strong fifth house too, so even more desire for creativity and fun!
