say for example my chart has venus in taurus in h7 conj dc as the strongest planet but i have uranus in sag as a singleton, only planet in mutable. could the uranus over power the venus?

my uranus also makes no major aspects but i'm just asking in general. do any of you feel your singleton planets more than your dominant in the event that they are not the same?

Well, as you pointed out, I have singleton and I do feel it as a very strong influnce. However, it is very integrated in my chart. I also would not say that the sign it's in, Aqua, is the most dominant in my personality at all.

If your Uranus makes no major aspects then it is an Unaspected Planet. I have read that Unaspected Planets are the strongest in the entire chart but there is alot of debate with some saying they're weaker and others saying that the energy is sporatic and very intense to the house it concerns.

Pluto in Scorpio is a singleton planet in my 5th house (Placidus) and I feel it very strongly there. I don't know that it overpowers my Cap stellium or Aries stellium though, I would think it pulls it's own weight rather.

what i've read about uranus unaspected is that it does the opposite of a usual unaspected planet. it is less disruptive.

i don't know about strength tho. it is always last in my chart.

also i wonder if singleton by modality might not be as strong as singleton by element. i dunno. it's just a maybe. perhaps i read it somewhere.

Actualy yes.

As far as i know singleton becomes an important placement through which the energies of the whole chart funnels.

It certainly is the case for me... My mercury singleton in aqua is badly aspected and as far as i can remember all the troubles i had/have (that really bothered me) are mercury related. Communication issues and blockades mostly.
Funny thing is my job now is in "mercurial" field.

Yes i second this ^

i also think a sigleton is strong energy. And in your case if it's unaspected than yes, it should really stand out or even give you like a compeletly different side to you that may not be anything like your dominants. I have a unaspected sun, chiron and north node and i really do feel those energies are at work stronger than others in my chart.

soo a Uranus is Sagg singleton...seems like a whole lotta fun i can totally see that in you over your broody scorp/taurus energy

okay lets test it. If tomorrow morning one of your friends was to call you and say "I'm going bunjee jumping! Wanna come ?!'

OR

a friend was to call you in the middle of the night and say " I'm going skinny dipping! wanna come!?

what would you sayy? choose to answer either or...LOL.

I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?

when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history

a bit from the huber style reading i got from astro.com forums..

quote:
you seem so calm and steady yet in fact you can move lightening fast when you see what you need or are aiming for. directs you and this ability of yours. taurus sun holds the key to your ability and uranus is the sensitive point that picks up all kinds of information. learning to communicate this information so that others can understand it and use it effectively for their own benefit, is your life's work

yes that was my point sandd, that your energetic energy pops out more than your "so called" dominant broody energy. So no i dont really get broody from you

ahaha since you've passed on the question i have got my answer.

But some of that would be from your Aries Merc, no? The tendency to speed some things up, or get impatient, or do something 'shocking' and off the wall... ahh gotta love it!

Idk if mutable singleton would be so strong because you have so much fixed energy. Actually, I can see the debates from all sides.. I think that a person with a mutable chart with a singleton in a fixed sign would feel the singleton most. I think that a singleton element might be felt most if it was also the only 'mode' as well (i.e. only air, only cardinal) I think that any singleton, regardless of how strong it is, will make it's presence known fron time to time, hence the 'sporatic' energy. I also think that an Unaspected Planet (esp. Uranus in Sag) would be very rebellious when it wanted and that it would rebel in a 'freer' and a 'purer' way as it has no aspects to channel or pass the energy along to. So yes, I think it depends on the chart and what mode, element, aspects the proposed singleton/unaspected planets have. Take me, I channel my love for weird through various veins of everyday life lol (aspected). However, I can still randomly have these lightning strokes of flighty weirdness (singleton air aqua)

I really hope I explained that so that it makes sense. lol

Hey what house is your Uranus in? I think that if it was in a mutable house it would help with the mutability. Also, I think that maybe the energy from this planet maybe slightly unnoticed by you because you're use to the forceful energy of your fixed placements?
