Trying to figure out my brother's ascendent and hoping some brainstorming with you guys will help. If you guess a sign he has in his chart I will let you know of the placement  .

He is a Sun cap with moon in Taurus and mars in Taurus conjunct. He does have the lightness of a Jupiter so perhaps this is a clue to his ascendent!! He is very tall 6'2" and his Jupiter is in aqua! perhaps his ascendent is aqua. He does have a goofy quirky sense of humor big time.IP: Logged |

If he is aqua rising he would have stellium between ascendent/venus/jupiter....but you would think that with this stellium and sun conjunct juno he would be married by now! and he has only had one girlfriend in his life and wants to have a girlfriend but he is reserved and doesn't have an active social life. His life is work/family/churh and home. He will need to meet a chick at church and hasn't had much luck. I think part of the problem is he doesn't REALIZE when a girl likes him and probably approaches the ones that don't.IP: Logged |

My dad's a third decan aqua rising, and your brother's forehead and hair looks like my dad's lol. Actually his smile reminds me of my dad too (except since he has a stellium in scorpio, it's more penetrating lol)I don't think your brother's a sag rising? He might have his jupiter aspecting his asc? He's definitely not a gem rising. Gem rising have different facial structure and they're more petite everywhere lol. IP: Logged |

I had him under gemini rising but I cant remember how I came to that conclusion and then I was thinking he isn't super talkative as my husband who has gemini rising so started doubting he was a gemini rising but he does have sun in cap and moon in Taurus which would make him reserved so perhaps this will have an influence in how his gemini rising is expressed. He doens't start a bunch of projects at once like gemini risings either.

and aqua risings tend to be tall too right? but if he has aqua rising then he would have sun, mercury and northnode in the 11th and he doesn't have a bunch of friends but perhaps that means that northnode in the 11th hasnt kicked in for him yet. The parts about not realizing when someone likes him and not having an active social life sound like me  What ASC would give him Saturn in the 11th?

Sag rising would mean his saturn is in the 7th and would explain why he is 37 still single and not married. Only one girlfriend in his life. Real nice guy, doesn't sleep around. I think even that he is still a virgin. He is goofy and quirky in his humor and very light, doesnt feel like a cap so I am leaning towards sag rising bc of his vibe, sense of humor and saturn in the 7th. Unless having sun in cap conjunct Juno in cap would explain why he still single even though he would love to settle with someone. IP: Logged |

LOL I have saturn in the 11th but also pluto in the 11th, I dont have an active social life but do have lots of friends who at some point did hang out with a lot but now I mostly like to chill at home bc I have a best friend already which is husband LOL. He has saturn in cancer at 0 degrees. I will try to check out what would give him a saturn in the 11th and get back to you. IP: Logged |

Oh and sag rising would give him an empty 11th house and 8th house and 5th house! that has to be it. It explains a lot  . Hope that juno conjunct sun results in him getting married although late. edit to add: the ruler of his seventh will be mercury which opposes saturn. He also has other nice mercury aspects though such as mercury trine venus, quintile uranus, and semisextile neptune. IP: Logged |

Yeah my dad's pretty tall too, and like kinda stocky. Your brother doesn't seem to have the facial structure of a gem rising. I also don't think he has a sag rising? You can usually tell somebody has a sag rising by their smile lol. It's like leo with their bright smile, but more playful.

Edit to add: I bet jupiter conjunct venus in aqua explains his tallness and he does binge eat but mom makes sure he stays in shape. Mom has virgo rising with cap sun.

Like see if his 2nd house cusp, 3rd house, 4th house etc fit him. They are quite effective.

Isn't the rule that your rising sign is no more than two signs away from your moon? something like that. Seems to work on my Scorpio ASC/Cap moon friend, and me who has Taurus moon as well. I have Gemini rising and I'm not super talkative. The Capricorn influence would also affect that in general I'd think. IP: Logged |

Nope. The ASC is based on the time you were born. Anyone born on any given day could be any ASC sign, regardless of their Moon. The Moon moves quickly, but generally stays in a sign for two days. IP: Logged |

His sag rising with 12th cusp in sag too.Sagittarius influences the twelfth house affairs denoting a "behind the scenes" planner.
