mine is sexy thriller

..and then cheesy romantic movie.

..and then maybe crime/ heist/ con movies.

..and some non linear, subtitled foreign/ art house film.

pluto is ruling planet. h1.

i like the first part of most action movies where they show all the toys but get bored with the actual action in most. war movies put me to sleep.

Comedy FTW

You don't need movies to see horror and drama and "artsy" lunacy....just watch the news :P

Mercury ruled/Third house heavy here!

I like...anything, really. I can get into it and enjoy it and be all "WHOA MY GAWD, THAT CAR FLIPPED/SHE GOT KILLED/JIM CARREY."

But, I have natural liking to horror. C:

I like psychological films and arthouse ones. Also like thrillers (the good ones).

Do not like gory films, or toilet humour. Like sth more understated and thought provoking. Appreciate films with good art direction and cinematography.

Romantic comedy, specially an independent romantic comedy or just independent romantic movie that is good and like foreign romantic comedies or romantic movies too. Or just an interesting foreign or independent film that has something to say and is well made and artistic.

"whatever works", "as good as it gets"

I think this is bc my strongest planet is neptune and my venus and mars are in leo but in the 9th house. I like movies that make you think but also make you fantasize and make you feel good, one or the other or both.

Any 12th house neptune influenced people should watch this movie christiane F
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVYDG2oSdlY

It seems really depressing but it gives you different perspective about life. Its really gritty and shocking but beautiful at the same time.

Fun topic!

Chart ruler- Libra Pluto in the 11th

My favorite genre is Oscar nominated. I call this its own genre because that's simply the best way for me to categorize it. I find that I can really only appreciate really quality acting, script, cinematography, and emotion. DEPTH of emotion especially (that's where the Pluto comes in).

Lots of people go to movies to escape reality (ie, Neptune ruled people), but I go to movies to feel closer to it. I feel an emotional bond to characters I understand and identify with as real people. Happy endings just seem saccharine and false to me. I love character driven movies though.

I also love movies that are psychological and have a surprise twist that I didn't see coming. I can be hard to fool, so I appreciate movies/tv shows that are able to do it.

Sci fi action movies or thrillers

Superhero movies

Rom coms

I hate arthouse dramas, they bore me (maybe its my Sag Mars?). I can't watch horror films or depressing movies. I'm too sensitive (Pisces Venus?)

My favorite movies are Clueless, Batman Returns & Alien.

naw it's k, it's about the love of cinema. a movie about movies. the last scene is the most beautiful i've watched so far.

anyone try and watch the tree of life? holy phuck i fell aleep every 5 minutes.

i like quentin tarrantino very much. sure he plagiarizes some ideas from foreign industries like hk but he tells it in his own way and that's really what directing is about.

i like wong kar wai too just because his films are so lush with color and the retro/ futuristic clothes.

i hate a lot of fantasy/ blockbusters to be honest.

i like really cool super villains too.

Stuff like: the ring and the ring 2. Alice in wonderland (2010). The addams family (1990).

I love anything with a dark edge to it that isn't gorey or just full of nonstop pain. Seems like most horror movies are like that. I will NEVER watch anything like the saw series. That's just constant suffering, and I have no idea how people like stuff like that. I like horror when it's much more psychological.

You should watch the original japanese version of the ring ^ it's alot better. The remake was dumbed down.
