Is northnode in the 10th the ultimate perfectionist?Or South node in virgo? Which one is more perfectionistic Cap or Virgo? Sun virgo or virgo rising? Gemini rising? Gemini Sun? Jupiter in Virgo? What are placements you find of people who are very perfectionistic?

I'm a perfectionist in everything. Virgo sun + mars (6th house lol so further accentuates that I expect) + my Libra. Hey, nothing wrong with pursuing perfection. Nothing wrong with looking good, doing well. <3 I'm the type that spends a few all-nighters perfecting my project and if I don't find it satisfactory. I rip it up and start from scratch lol. I used to do that alot. As well as finding it hard to get things started bc I'd want my idea to be perfect. IP: Logged |

I agree perfectionism is good but in moderation....that is my motto for almost everything. Balance is the key. Too much or too little perfectionism is not ideal.

Yeah, if somebody is like close to a nervous break down in pursuit of absolute perfection, then that's going overboard. But if it's just wanting to better oneself and you know, wanting to do well and also having standards, I think it's fine?Maybe? IP: Logged |

The ones with big perfectionist tendencies are virgo moon, mercury and venus.Think sun isn't as strong. IP: Logged |

I think you are right....I think suns are suppose to learn to be become perfectionistic as they age. My dad has moon in virgo and his very organized and eats healthy and is always shaved except for his mustache, been there forever LOL, ate a chocolate bar a few times with utensils, wakes up always 6am and goes to sleep around the same time always, is responsible and organized and hardworking but was well balanced with home life, never came home late that I can remember and was very present father emotionally (with the exception of when I turned 10 and moved to Miami, dad had to travel back and forth a lot because of work for some years). He is perfectionist but not super, in a quiet reserved way with his routines, habits and own standards but not towards others or with others, he doesnt project it to anyone...is in a quiet way. My sister has mars in virgo and she is perfectionistic excessively but only when it comes to the guy she dates...her mars in virgo combined with her mercury square pluto is just looking for a defect, there or not...she must find one or if not her neptune in the 3rd retrograde will fabricate one LOL (just a theory). and as my mom if I have the right time of birth I think what makes her perfectionistic is southnode in virgo, workaholic NN in the 10th with cap sun, an versatile like crazy gemini rising. virgo=perfectionist as well as saturn placements. also, the first week(decan) of libra is called the "week of perfection". every virgo i know is a big time perfectionist. ive got a virgo moon and im the first decan of libra as well as a loaded 6th house with my sun,mars,merc in there and im definitely a perfectionist IP: Logged |

Caps are determined and sttuborn, they can be perfeccionists if they need, but Virgo for sure win this one!Virgo has eye for detail, maybe having saturn in virgo, or virgo rising (my case, I'm very perfeccionist) or virgo moon! Though I know some virgo sun who are really not perfeccionist, they are really messy. They are reserved, timid and quiet sometimes, but doesn't has the eye for detail. IP: Logged |

I'm a Virgo Mars, a first week Libra and have a 6th house NN. I'm NOT a perfectionist at all lol. I know people with Virgo Sun, with Virgo Moon, with Virgo SN and another one with Cappy NN. I found them all to be far more perfectionistic & critical (some of them especially towards others) then I am. Edit: then again I'm very interested in alternative healing, nutrition, organic skincare and lately natural make up (as I'm allergic to many stuff). Guess that's how the Virgo in me creeps out. I can truly relate to not starting a project till you're sure you will get it "perfect". This goes for everything i do, relationships included  However, i have been getting better and better at this, as i should since my NN is in Pisces. But what i believe intensifies my drive for perfection are 3 retro planets, (saturn, uranus, neptune ) in the 6th... The criticism is hardly ever directed onto other ppl though. Awareness is key

I am a perfectionist with my mind and emotions most of all. I am with most things, but those two take the cake. I have taken it to extremes in the past and have since learned not to (the hard way).One of the most stand out periods was a few years ago when I questioned literally *every* single thought and emotion I had and subjected it to logic. If it did not "pass" I would reject it and force it out of my mind. I was trying to be the perfect person with no problems. The stress from forcing my mind into shapes that it did not belong in began to manifest in somataform symptoms. I no longer could differentiate what I was thinking and feeling, they were both one thing. I began feeling a very intense pressure within and if I kept it up I feel I would have began having a permenant neverous tick or possible schizophrenia. I could truly feel my brain throwing itself around trying to escape. ------------------

SN in Virgo here.
I used to be nearly obsessed with perfection.
I think I've outgrown it. It's STILL there but it's not an obsession any longer.
That is why I believe that people "travel" toward their NN during their lifetime...
I'm not there yet (to my NN in Pisces I mean) but I'm not 100% my SN either. BTW the hardest part about having high standards for yourself is that you then tend to use the very same high standards for others. It sounds fair for the Virgo-influenced ppl but in practice it is not fair for the unsuspected other party. (I've been guilty of that, talking from experience.) IP: Logged |

Your S Node in Virgo and North Node in Pisces, is asking that in THIS lifetime you come away from overanalysing, worrying, nit picking and develop more compassion, emotions (pisces)and to be more focused on career or what you wish to become known for (10th house) Plus a lot depends on what house system you use as N Node *could* potentially be 9th or 11th in Equal house.....

You sound like my mom who has southnode in virgo ....she has been becoming more her northnode little by little over the years but when I was little it was painful watching her southnode at work, I would help her with her projects and it will never end bc she will always find something she wanted to perfect....deep down she was just beeen really hard on herself and not nice to herself even if she would project into onto others sometimes. I have noticed that southnode in virgo is not organized though bc of the NN in pisce but they are picky and hard on themselves and with time become less about perfection and more about unconditional love or reaching a balance between the two.
