Kat Von D is ******* awsome, she's one of my heros and i love her for about a zillion reasons. She's ballsy, looks tough as **** , but is the most romantic, cheesey, love obsessed person ever. Yes she's a pisces sun so that helps with the obsession with love, the love of animals and the compassion, but what i really want to talk about is the fact that she has a virgo moon. Anybody who has ever watched LA Ink can testify to how much of a workaholic she is, and how much she cares about every single detail about her business, her art, and the people in her life or even just those she comes in contact with. How she needs to have input in everything she does, to make sure that it's all a perfect reflection of herself. She always takes on too much, she always worries more about the people around her more than she worries about herself, and she always cares deeply about EVERYTHING. THAT my friends is a virgo moon! Take that anybody who calls virgo moons cold-hearted! We have Kat Von D on our side! IP: Logged |

i could see that! hmmm maybe i should try my hand... looking at her chart, it completely makes sense why i connect with her so much: we both have a virgo moon and an aquarius mercury, and my aquarius sun and pisces ascendent only adds to my understanding of her IP: Logged |

I have mixed feelings about her. On the one hand, I love her passion for her art and pretty much everything listed in the OP, but on the other hand... am I the only one who thinks she sounds like an utter dingbat when she speaks?(I have a Virgo Moon. ) IP: Logged |

@ ladyvi - yeah, me too!@ Fondue Knight - yes...lol whatever man. i don't think she sounds like an "utter dingbat". HOWEVER, are you thinking of her when she was drinking or when she's sober because there's a huge difference (yet another reason why i connect with her - i'm not sober... but i've definitely had prior issues with alcohol). @ sand - nope aqua sun yo! but pisces venus/ascendent IP: Logged |

I think I've seen more of the recent, sober episodes of LA Ink... If anything, it could just be the California/surfer/laid back affect in her voice. I tend to pick up on weird things that irk me. That said, I'd let her tattoo me from here to next Tuesday. IP: Logged |

FondueKnight.....no you are not the only one. lol She seems like a sweetheart though. The guys I worked with couldnt stand her or the show. They thought her work was good but for some reason didnt like her and thought the show turned into a soap opera and wanted it to me more about the art. IP: Logged |

Well... drama begets ratings, no? I mean, yeah, TLC stands for "The Learning Channel," but that's a joke. What the hell are we supposed to learn from crap like "Kate plus 8?" I would love a reality show that focused on just the tattooing and the people's stories and all that. Instead, we're getting a reality competition for tattoo artists hosted by Dave Navarro. this is all true, yeah it probably is the LA drawl. Even though I loved and watched LA Ink religiously, i completly agree that it got waaay too soap opera-y at the end, and it seemed like she started to realize that as well and pulled back a lot.@ Sand - i can't find her rising anywhere. FK, LOL exactly Oh yeah, i saw commercials for that Navarro one. I don't tune into any of them anymore because my focus has shifted, but yeah, with drama comes ratings! And agreed, a show like that would be refreshing. I did see a good documentary on the art once, but think it was on the History channel. Yeah, too bad we couldnt learn more from THE LEARNING CHANNEL. lol
