It can mean a lot...she is there for him and she is religious...she isn't there for him because of psychological trauma...she is there for him but she works endlessly for him and therefor not there since she is more like a male offering support but not emotional...usually she is there in some faculty except for emotional...therefore boundries are never learned... or vice versa...excellent boundries...depends on the aspects too...i have moon in pisces but it trines saturn...in scorpio...my mom is a spartan - literally....and it sextiles my jupiter in the eighth house...she is mystic - christian but not dogmatic....and very tolerant of people....except when it comes to me dating... however her parents died when she was young...and she was not present for my early life since she had to work and was mentally gone for some time.....although quite sane to be honest...for what happened in her life. moon (any sign) in hard aspect to chiron, has real problems with mother. Not sure if pisces moon alone in just sign, but it has been suggested. perhaps start a thread asking all pisces moons to comment?any moon in hard aspect to Neptune has confusions, illusions around mother. IP: Logged |

I have moon in pisces and if there is someone in this planet that will always be there for me no matter what is my mom. She is there for me emotionally and financially. She is very attached to me. She has three children but says when she had me she felt she was falling in love with me. She has always been very over protective of me and possessive of me and tried molding me into her but her intentions have always been good and I always fought to be myself and as result always had a strong character. Moon in pisces opposite sun and opposite mercury. Moon square neptune. Moon is part of two tsquares in my chart. IP: Logged |

Gah, I hope not. My youngest has a Pisces Moon. I'd hoped it was just 'cause I'm a Pisces Edited to add: It's part of a Pisces Stellium in her 3rd House - 29d Moon, 28d Mars, 18d Uranus, 13d NN. Its only other significant aspect is a sq w/ 28d Pluto. *tugs on collar ala Dangerfield* Uh...not sure what to say about that last one. Mommy might've had some intense emotions during her early childhood...ex-husband declared intention to divorce ("Marriage isn't where my head is at") mid-way through a deployment. IP: Logged |

Interesting. Can you elaborate (maybe you have already) on what prompted this? Totally fine if you don't want to. Just curious. I actually have a Libra friend with a Pisces moon (male) and I suspect his mother isn't a big part of his life or there's trouble with her because he doesn't speak of her very much. He's quick to mention his dad though. IP: Logged |

I haven't read the whole thread yet but I have a rather important question of my own. What about about if a child has Pisces ASC or Pisces sun. Can this also mean their mother won't be there for them. Asking due to personal experience. Would really appreciate if anyone knows.IP: Logged |

I have yet another experience to back this up. My friend (Taurus, female) had a Pisces moon and to my knowledge her mom and her were best friends. However, she started dating this Pisces guy with a Capricorn moon and his mother wasn't that stable for him. I think she had drug problems or boyfriends in and out, that kind of thing. IP: Logged |

Aqua and Saggi energies do tend to get on well together. Oddly enough my Aquarius friend was adopted by a Sag mom. I'd call that lucky. Your ASC and Suns are also complimentary, so being best friends makes sense in your case. IP: Logged |

I think aspects may have more to say about [edited to say "parental relationships"] it than sign. For instance, my Sun's in a tight t-square with my Saturn and Neptune - guess whose Dad's an alchie! IP: Logged |

Adding: I'm looking at my eldest's chart...and, wow. I guess getting into astrology can make you wonder about how you're messing up your kids. Her Moon (8* Gem) is loosely conj. her Venus and Mars (16* and 20* Gem), trine her Neptune and (ouch) sq her Uranus and Jupiter. Heh. *slinks away* IP: Logged |

Pisces Moons have Neptunian energy attached to the idea/image of the mother which covers a wide range. If she wasn't there for him then she could have been acting out the Neptune penchant for disappearing acts. But the Pisces Moon experience of the mother could also be: sensitive, intuitive, escapist addictions, lazy, easily hurt, led a fantastical life, fragile, very feminine, a victim of circumstances, someone who wanted to save or to be saved, a dreamer, gentle, someone who believed in fairy tales and happy endings, glamorous, compassionate, creative, someone who always needed to be protected, someone who was lost, someone who found it hard to deal with reality, spiritual, taught the child a lot about faith, about art, about healing, about taking care of others. Whatever the literal experience of the mother, it left them wide open on a feeling level, able to tune into others and leaves the child with few boundaries on the lunar level, barring a conflicting aspect/house/sign placement. You have to look at the 4th, what's there and it's ruler to get a more complete picture of the early home life experience.IP: Logged |

Good point.....it manifest many ways. I have moon in pisces: my mom is super intuitive, compassionate, avoids reality as she cant watch rated R movies and sticks to PG 13 or less, is religious and also very spiritual. This is how it manifested in her case. She never did drugs or looked for a guy to save her as she is a sun cap with aqua in venus so she is strong and independent but moon in taurus makes her possessive with her kids although was not at all with her husband. A28, Yea I remember your vid. I can see the Pisces lunar energy in you.My father has a Pisces Moon, his mother was never shy about stating that he was her favorite. Might be a coincidence, but she always wanted a girl and got only boys. LOL. He was definitely a mama's boy (which is OK). IP: Logged |

Not necessarily. E.g. Kim Kardashian has Pisces Moon and her mom seems quite present in her life. But the Moon sign reflects the kid's perception of the primary nurturer. So it's possible the maternal figure was seen as being evasive, if the Moon has hard aspects to it.Pisces or Neptune on/in the 10th can mean that as well. IP: Logged |

my mom played a very active part in my childhood and is still an important figure in my life. I've had a similar experience as Amelia, I would say.The only way I think my mom is seen through the moon is that my moon is in the first house (my mom's an Aries). IP: Logged |
