Topic: venus in 1st house: where do you find love?

i have noticed in some threads on here that the house that venus is in indicates the area of life where the person will find love,such as tenth house venus through their career,4th house the family introduces them to a lover etc. but i havent read about venus in the first,i have venus in the first conjunct the ascendant,how might someone with venus in the first find love?IP: Logged |

Venus in the 1st is one of the easier to figure out Venus placements. It's similar to having a Libra Ascendant, meaning you like charming and beautiful people, equality is a must and relationships are important to you. You're probably one of the more romantic Aquarians with having Venus in the 1st. Wait, why would Venus in the first house be like Venus in Libra? Wouldn't that be the case if Venus were in the 7th?
Shouldn't it be more Aries like? Or am I interpreting this wrong?

Where to find love, we have to look, where is the ruler of 5th house, in what house is. It has nothing to do with Venus (my Venus in 8th - should be some funeral or connected with death people?)My all loves are found in abroad or come from abroad. B. ------------------

My 5th house ruler is pisces, but on the chart it looks like it's kinda half pisces, half aries.Going with pisces, the ruler is neptune and neptune sits in my 3rd house...so I guess I find love through siblings? ( I have none, I'm the only child) or maybe through my community? or by socializing?? If I go by Aries, the ruler mars is in my 11th house...so that means I find love through establishing associations with other people? IP: Logged |

yea mine is conjunct the ascendant,and i also have the pluto square,venus also squares the moon,mars,uranus,and quincunxes chiron, and yea like you said i feel that my struggles are out in the open,and my problems relating to women in general are in the spotlight IP: Logged |

i'm an aqua with venus in the first on the ascendant too. it is on the samuel l. jackson degree. my 5th house ruler is venus (taurus). i don't know where i find love. to be honest i attract a lot of nutjobs to me cuz i'm very compassionate and friendly. i also have eros cj my venus so i get a lot of guys hitting on me or just wanting me for sex and/or my compassion. i have neptune-AC-venus-eros in a stellium. i only seem interested in really intense ppl and if someone isn't i feel bored. i like catharsis and healing and depth and i like to bring COMFORT. perhaps this is my taurus moon on the cusp of my 5th and how it is channelled into my venus? i dunno if venus relates to upbringing at all but my parents were both pretty psycho and (my dad was a macho 'roid taking womanizing ahole with a very soft heart underneath that would sometimes peak out and he loved me very much and my mom hated me with a passion and was severely abusive, and is very two faced, no one knew or if they did she charmed them into not caring), so yeah i think this is where my penchant for intensity comes from, as i wanted both of them to be happy and relaxed more than anything and saw the roots of their pain, learned massive self sufficiency (was 'parented' just *barely* by any stretch of the imagination) and self-comforting. to be honest i feel like i'm working out their karma and i take on too much in relationships as i tend to go for ppl who are struggling intensely or are in some kind of crisis. the weird thing is, i just attract them and i never know this stuff is going on beforehand. at first they just seem soooo sweet. all i know is, thank god for samuel l. jackson or i probably wouldn't be here to tell you my tale IP: Logged |
