Hi everyone,

I'm a pretty shy, easygoing person who strives to get along with everyone, honestly (Cap sun, Pisces moon.)

So having Pluto in the third house has made my life difficult. I want to get ALONG with people but cannot help saying stuff that...oops!...accidentally hits them like a sledgehammer.

Pretty awkward. Can anyone relate?

Maybe it's worse for me because Pluto in Libra trines my Mercury in Aquarius and Mars in Gemini. I hope I'm not making myself too unpopular by admitting this up front.

Thanks for reading

Well, I can relate.
Pluto in the 3rd is in the natural house of Gemini ruled by Mercury.
I have Pluto in Virgo which is also ruled by Mercury.
Being critical and superanalytical to the point of killing the subject of the discussion is par for the course for such Pluto placement.
On the other hand, you can make a fine intellectual partner if someone is open to listen to you (due to the particular trines you listed).
And Libra, like Pisces, will hate to keep anyone disagreeing but Pluto in the 3rd is not going to live up to that. Ha.
Enjoy it for whatever it is. Try to find people who can be like you or at least who know where you're coming from.
And no matter what you do, do not neglect your intellect. Pluto here wants you to go deep.
What are you studying?

Pluto conjunct mercury in 3rd. I can listen to you and talk about you and your situation all day and night, but you won't hear too much about me. I don't ever back away from a heated discussion or argument. I can research something for hours and days until I have found what I'm looking for.

can you post your chart please? I would look to your mercury, in the sign in the house and how it's aspected shows how your mercury functions and expresses...

Anongrl10: This describes me so much it practically hurts, just to be reminded:
"Being critical and superanalytical to the point of killing the subject of the discussion is par for the course for such Pluto placement." LOL...yes.

Amphitrite:
"I don't ever back away from a heated discussion or argument. I can research something for hours and days until I have found what I'm looking for."
Me either! It's good to know I'm not alone.

SaggiMC: The link you posted describes me to "T." I am an odd mix of reclusive and outgoing. On some issues, I have NEVER spoken my real opinion aloud. I try to make up for that by being super candid in other areas.
