I have seen people have terrible experiences under a Neptune transit, but the shift will affect all of us. How do you expect it to change your life? Will we be more intuitive, more compassionate? Or will Neptune in Pisces obscure our vision and lead to escapism? Both? Neptune is actually one of the planets in my chart I don't fully grasp or comprehend. It was only after reading here about its effects in the natal that I understood that it does play an important role in my chart (it's closely trine Sun/Ven/Mar and the focal point of a t-square). Neptune glamorizes whatever sign it's in. Masses will want a taste of it. But it's always escapism in whatever sign it's in, just different ways of doing it really. Nept in Sagittarius the hipness of the eastern religions, getting in touch w.Buddhism, all that George Harrison stuff, custom made belief systems, big ideas, super laid back awesome jetsetter. Neptune in Capricorn w.the business corporate yuppie type, big shoulder pads, but that spilled over even after Neptune left that sign. I think there's a gray area after the ingress. In Aquarius, obv social networking online, groups of people interacting who otherwise would prob not have met, psychics by phone, falling in love with some stranger online, Apple device means you are one cool mutha, look at you prancing along with your iPod, everyone wants to be like you, you are where it's at, iPhone getting internet whenever you want (for the most part)? you hit the big time. If you don't use the net you are so behind the times, you are yesterday's news, less than 1,000 FB followers? Step aside cos you're nothing. Internet addiction haha. I think that whole ingress was stronger since it was in mutual reception for a while w.Uranus in Pisces. In Pisces, well Pisces related things will be supah cool, and if you're not subscribing then you are not 'with it.' Take your pick. But lately anyway the manifestations have been pretty literal. Maybe you're not cool unless you have your own brand of art, unless your creativity is on display then you are nothing, who knows. I predict Pisces colors in fashion, so sea greens, light blues, violets. Maybe some sparkles/shimmery fabrics. Sensual, easy on the body, nice movement. Gotta be like you're floating in a beautiful world. Everyone's gorgeous, splash a lil stardust and it's marvelous. lol Pisces are too much. Neptune doesn't do much in mine, sextile Saturn/Pluto/Sun, trine MC. It may be a few yrs before we see much by way of trends, but maybe not, you have to look back at what happened and when. The thick of it tends to be at the middle/end & then it lingers. But literal manifestations, world events, maybe even catastrophes, may happen sooner. Well that's what I've seen anyway. Uranus Aqua for the internet, ingressed around Jan of 1996. I had the AOL at home around that time, tho it was around before obv. But many were getting into it then, more than before. It's still expanding. Neptune in Aqua ingress around Nov of 98. I guess it was with the 2008 election that they realized the power of connecting to masses via this medium, you couldn't really deny it then. Around that time it became a whole other monster, aside from creepy chatrooms and research. Google aug 04 as '1st public offering' , FB founded 2004, twitter 2006. Uranus in Pisces around Jan 2004, began mutual reception with above. Emphasizing, allowing the net to flow into all the highways and byways of existence. Pluto Cap ingress around Dec 2008 with all its mess. It's still only at 8. This one is seriously pulling no punches. Wait til it gets to Aqua omg. Internet havoc lol. Nov 2024 thereabouts. Neptune will be in Aries & Uranus in Gemmy. I love the idea of Uranus in Gem. Omg Pluto in Aqua disposited by Uranus in Gem, alien convos haha. Just kidding. Those will be some serious geniuses born with that combo personalized. Neptune in Aries sounds slightly terrifying. Stephen Hawking: Humans Should Fear Aliens IP: Logged |

I hope it's nothing too literal coming up this yr, lots of drowning deaths for example. Something interesting I saw on the net tonight was that the CA Gold Rush started the same time Neptune was last in Pisces..it began 1/24/1848, and Neptune went into Pisces 4/25/47-7/12/47, 2/17/48-10/15/48, 12/6/48 official entry. However at the time t.Uranus was coming up to conj t.Pluto in Aries. Vicious combo apparently since the Native Americans were practically slaughtered and enslaved in the process, if they didn't starve due to their fish being killed because of mining practices. One thing I am looking forward to ( hopefully ) will be the waning of this tech driven pop culture phase we are in. Reality tv, auto tune voices ,obsessive gaming, facebook , etc... It will be nice to have Pisces energy for a change ( higher vibration hopefully). Maybe music and art can flourish again with out the help of technology. I'm not saying tech stuff bad, I'm just looking at the trends of the past 14 yrs.IP: Logged |

Thank you for the links, sc0rpioRising!So far, Neptune in Pisces feels like I'm drowning. Anne Ortelee covered it pretty well in her radio show this week, she said that we all feel existentially alone in this period. The general consensus seems to be that anyone who is hoping that things will just go back to the way they used to be is wrong... but then again, we know that, don't we? IP: Logged |
