Okay, a little bit of shameless self-promotion but it is astrology related, though. Don't worry.

I just created an astrology blog and I'd love for you guys to check it out and leave your comments. I'm going to be posting my own interpretations of different astrology placements (mostly Sun, Moon, and Rising)over time. I'll write up some personal short essays about different astro topics, too. I also plan on making original interpretations for all of the Sun/Moon combinations (144, so that's pretty ambitious, ha ha).

Anyway, I just got started so there's only my Moon sign interpretations. They are divided up by elements and the first one you'll read is the Water Moons. But, check them out and let me know what you think. I'd like to believe they're a little different than most of the ones you've run across on the Internet.

Here's the address and for future reference, it'll be my signature: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com

Wow! I love it!

I'm a Pisces moon, about which you wrote:

quote:
A Moon in Pisces individual is an emotional sponge. Their feelings run deeply and they are also prone to absorbing the moods and needs of others. This can make for a vague and confusing inner life, as it’s difficult for Pisces Moons to sort out where they end and others begin.

SO TRUE.

I'm 36, and I didn't realize I had a Pisces moon until a few years ago. I lived my whole life soaking up impressions and basically feeling ambushed by the collective vibes of everyone in the room.

The expression "knowledge is power" never had more significant meaning for me than here. KNOWING I am ultra sensitive is just a blessing because I can take measures to protect myself and "empty out" the bad vibes that didn't originate with me.

Yeah, and what you wrote about Cancer moons fits as well. My sister's sun, moon, and mercury are in tight conjunction in Cancer. She has serious problems and a large part of it is not being able to let go of the past. She lives there.

'Will be exploring your page more Thank you.

Hey, guys! Thanks for the feedback. Yes, like I said, I'll be constantly updating so keep on visiting. I plan on posting my Sun sign interpretations within the next couple days.

And Venus, it's interesting that you say that. I was really trying to describe how the Moon functions and is expressed in each sign. In my view, Capricorn Moon has a 'strict' emotional life and certain feelings are repressed and not allowed. At least, that's what I've observed from some of my family members with this placement.

Nevermind family Do you know how many astrologers would be out there, specialising in psychotic astrology if they were to focus on family only

There is that sense of being appropriate, dignified in sentiment. So,there would be selection.
Also, bit of hermits,we are,if something isn't within our idea how things should be,it loses importance, and we just shun it.
Discriminating position of Moon.
If ashamed of emotion or desire, more likely we would try to destroy it rather to let it linger. Just like old photos we don't like

You have such a good point about Cap moon repressing emotions.
