Once worked with four of them: one Taurus & three Virgos. Way back when I first got into Astrology I heard Capricorn had a temper. Had forgotten about that aspect of the personality, but I think it comes out in the lunar position. Never seen people get so worked up over trifles.

Secretly I thought they were all psychotic. The exception was the Virgo with Taurus rising.

lol We've had like three recent threads on this. Is it Capricorn Moon season or something? Are we in high demand these days?

I'll just add something about Cap Moon. I'm very focused and centered. I can focus on the people/projects/things that are important to me and everything else fades to grey.

I think 'still waters run deep' works for Scorpio Moon.
Capricorn Moon is very rocky, not watery...

This is about earth signs in general.. but I think it suits my Moon:

quote:
Look at the houseplant for a few minutes -- or a few hours, the plant and its earth don’t seem to change. Move it around the room. Shake the plant a bit. Think about a patch of grass covered earth in a nearby park or backyard.

As you looked at the houseplant and thought about the patch of earth, the earth just seemed to sit there. When viewed for a few minutes, a patch of earth seems solid and stable without much activity; but under the thin visible crust of the patch of earth, insects, animals, and plant roots are very active.

We seem calm and maybe even slow on the surface.. But underneath it all we're always working away.. we're always making something, building something.. planning something.. And usually people see the results from all the work and the planning much later.
Usually people are very surprised, as though they were not expecting it - because the Cappy Moon seems so relaxed and uneventful on the surface.
It reminds me of the story about the turtle and the hare - and the turtle winning the race LOL

Also I'm very patient... Although that might be my Taurus Venus or Cap Mars. I would say patience is an earthy thing though in general!

quote:
oh and also what are the eyes like ?

I see both Capricorn and Pisces in my eyes. I can have very inviting friendly eyes... kind of 'sweet' like Pisces... Eyes that say "I understand you no matter what".
At other times (rarely) I can be intense or almost threatening if I'm around a person who makes me uncomfortable. I can definitely give a piercing - "I see right through you stare" that frightens some people (usually people who have something to hide).
But - very often - like 90% of the time I hide this piercing side to my personality.
My Pisces Merc is closely sextile my Moon... and Pisces has a propensity towards acting and hiding things. I prefer making people feel comfortable, rather than being threatening. I mean - often there is no reason to be threatening.

Also if you want to get close to them... check your synastry for aspects to *their* Saturn... aspects to their Mercury and aspects to their Moon.. Trines/Sextiles would be good.. But the harsh aspects can also be interesting.

If there isn't a strong enough connection in synastry - that might be why you are not getting close and why you see them as cold.

Also - in natal... a Cap Moon that is square something - can be colder than usual... and in general people who have an air sign or earth sign Mercury seem colder when it comes to communication - even when they are being extra friendly or nice.
There is just something in their communication style that lacks emotional warmth.. At least from the perspective of water/fire Mercuries It's all relative I guess!

do you have his chart? Capricorn moon is in detriment. So just remember planets are modified by signs, where they express are houses and how they express are *aspects*

My bf has Capricorn moon. He was shy at first but that quickly changed within days of getting to know each other. He was romantic, open, very quickly with me, which surprised me, because when I first met him...he didnt strike me as the type to be "romantic".

He changes into a completely different person when it comes to his work/studies. It's difficult because I love his romantic side. There are 2 sides of a Capricorn moon, 1 side, nobody rarely sees, and the other side most people see, is the hardworking, workaholic, ambitious side.

my father was a cap moon, no still waters here if anything it was a pond with non-stop ripples in them, very funny person jokes keep comin.. also very sensitive could be the sun conjunct mars in cancer..

he was, however, the rock of the family nothing phased him, except maybe the death of his mother (he was a double cancer afterall..)

i think this placement makes a solid father figure..

Wow, Capricorn moons, Leo moons, or Scorpios in general - just come to me. I'm the CorprioLeo whisperer... ?

Capricorn moons are afflicted, as SaggiMC pointed out. As for the technicalities of why this is, I don't know, but I've seen it's effects second-hand. My friend has Capricorn moon and she has body image issues, anxiety (but the anxiety is most likely due to her overload of Scorpio PLUS her Mars which is in Libra, and I'm sure that can't be good.)

My father is an Aquarius with Capricorn moon, he never, EVER forgets a slight. That's not to say he stays mad about it (A Scorpio w/Capricorn moon WILL stay mad about it, but his Aquarius Sun allows him objectivity) but he'll bring it up when it counts most. He's also a bit of a negative nancy (they both are, really only my father has much more life experience and maturity than my friend.)

I think Capricorn moons mean well, from my experience. When they love you, they stick with you. They show their love through buying you stuff or showing you stuff they'd think you'd like. They need consistency from you to feel loved, loyalty is HUGE for them. I can't stress that enough. Respect and honor equals love to them. They do usually have an angle in things but it's harmless for the most part. Plus you always have the ability to say no in which they'll Bah-hum-bug you for a bit and then stuff the "insult" back in the files they keep in their mind for later use, never to see a trace of it on their face, ever.

I think they DO come off so cranky because they have trouble expressing their emotions, or expressing their needs in general. I always visualize them as this kind of caveman-esque goat that mutters to itself when it's ****** off but won't address anyone directly because in their depressed state of mind, they don't see the point.

An excellent trait about this placement though is they will NEVER fly off the handle. They more often than not have a good hold on their emotions and will collect all the facts, hear the stories, before addressing the problem. Their patience (compared to an Aries like me ) is through the roof. I think this is especially true when they love you. My dad definitely has Capricorn eyes by the way. Very raggedy, puffy from being tired, and hooded a bit. They look beady but his mind is sharp as a tack. Brown eyes, by the way. My Scorpio friend looks more like a Scorpio but her eyes are hazel and very big.

Two of my sons have Capricorn moons and I think they are fabulous and everyone should adore them.

The older, a Sag, is VERY steady, completely fits the description BB gave.

The younger one, Libra born in the year of the Monkey, is much sillier and indecisive.

Are they "psychotic"? Not if you leave their Legos alone.

Seriously, they do have tempers, but I think they are just boys being boys.

having beautiful eyes has *nothing* to do with the moon's expressions, it's the Ascendant signs, any planets conj Asc or in first house....

Having tempers has *nothing* todo with Cappi moons. Look at how they mars is aspected espec if afflicted.

Just remember planets is signs ALONE does NOT explain how the moon or planet functions....

planets in houses shows where it expresses and *aspects* show HOW

Yep, Librans.... I have a saying for librans, "They used to be indecisive, not they can't make their minds up." and gemini and pisces aren't much better...

one thing I would say about cappi moons it 'shoudl' give good business, managerial abilities, as well as getting on with older people. How is his moon aspected?? Is it in 3rd or 7th house by any chance?

Darling SaggiMC, I was answering the person's question. Being a Capricorn rising with Jupiter in the 1H and not conjunct or even close to the ASC, my eyes are nothing like the description of Capricorn, Aquarius (which Jupiter is in), or Sagittarius. My attitude is much like my Capricorn rising and Moon in Aries.
