I can say that it has a calming effect on the rest of the chart - like it seems to put a soft-focus filter on some of the more jittery parts of a personality.
That, and once they've decided they're going to do something, they're going to do it (even with a mutable Sun and Moon). For example, my husband (Gem Sun/Saggi Moon/Tau Asc) met me for lunch today and told me about a work disagreement. He was heading up a project, but another project member (of equal "rank", greater seniority) was fighting him tooth and nail on the procedure my husband had put in place. (Long story short: The results are going to be my husband's responsibility down the line, so he wanted to do things thoroughly; the weren't on the the other guy, so he wanted to do them quickly but haphazardly.) He let the debate continue for a bit, and then he just began to do things according to his preference.
His colleague could then help (and get the job done) or not (and look like an @rse). He says that he goes by the "Big L" ("L" = Lazy). What will allow him to ultimately have the least amount of trouble? More work on the front end is acceptable if it will prevent heartache and rushing later on. That seems very Taurean to me. This is one of the better Scorpio Asc descriptions I've seen. I actually agree with it.  quote:

Yes, I usually care about others very quickly, but that's partially because I just have a universal I care about everyone policy. However, I probably do care too deeply about people too quickly. I also will not tell someone that I care about them. I will show them through actions. It is very hard for me to verbalize it, to be quite honest. It also makes me feel vulnerable (yay Scorpio trait) to put out there that I care so quickly, so I will sit back and watch for a bit to see who the 'real' person is. IP: Logged |

Gemini Moon/Venus isn't interested in revenge, and neither is the Aries Sun, and I DO expect people to play fair. I don't know why I'm so wary of trusting, and then so surprised when someone ends up not being trustworthy. The one guy I used to talk about, is the one person who needs to get some of his own s**t flung his way. Maybe by the time it happens - if it ever happens - I'll be sorry to hear of it, just as I am with anyone else. There are a few people I wish I wasn't concerned about, when it comes to them and their judgement of my character (I know they're wrong), but I'm hoping that will subside. I alternate between feeling sad, but holding no hard feelings, only to be ready to argue if anything comes up another time - but then I'm an awful person if I say anything, and am apparently just confirming their suspicions/accusations.  I used to trust that the truth would come out, blah, blah, blah... not anymore.

I'd missed the part where you mentioned that we like people to play fair (and expect it) - I added in my agreement. My Mother wondered, in the past, if my birth time was off, and I was really a Libra ascendant, because I'm so big on fairness, and seeing all sides of a situation (or trying to). IP: Logged |

Thank you, but we aren't so bad. I was vicious with one person, and that was months after I'd denied that I was the Medusa type that Lara accused us of being. I came back and admitted that to her. I felt toxic - late last year as well - and a few people made unfair judgments about me. that's what I refer to above. I hardly ever feel good anymore. I remember Jane telling me that our angles were conjunct. We're very different in ways, but I could relate to some of the things she shared. I really miss her, and a few others. Unmoved, was a Scorpio ascendant, too. IP: Logged |

Actually,I never wear sunglasses, because I always end up laughing when I see myself with them on - I feel like I look as though I'm trying to be cool, or something. Now that I have some lines around my eyes, I wish I'd paid attention to one good reason for wearing them: no squinting in bright light. IP: Logged |
