What aspects could point to a problem with eating too much, loving food, or whatever else that would lead to a problem with being overweight?

Hahahaha I would like to know myself.

I live to eat good food.

My perversion of Shakespeare: If eating be the love of food, eat on! Give me excess of it!

Jupiter in the 1H! It's supposed to bring luck, but apparently not when walking by cake! I swear if someone mentions good food my mouth and stomach team up against my brain.

hmm none of the 'fat' people i'm wondering about have that placement jupiter 1H. Maybe there is no correlation between astrology and overweight/eating issues

It doesn't make you "fat" or obese, but chubby. You just have to be extra careful in how much you eat because you can easily put on weight more than most.

There is a book about astrology and weight. I can't remember the name, but I think it talks a lot about Jupiter in natal, transits, and progressions in relation to weight gain.

And I brought home a large cheesecake after work!!

If my Jupiter aspects my Uranus, does it mean I'll suddenly gain two sizes around my waist?!? LOL.

The Battle of the Bulge here. All my life.

We talked about this before but I have Jupiter in 1h and I am not fat. I definitely have problems with overeating at times, and I gain weight quickly, but lose it just as quickly. So . . . this is not the only thing. Maybe it can give you the propensity to be overweight, but it won't make or brake you.

Maybe Jupiter-Ascendant aspects?

Looking at some of my charts, my Dad struggles with weight and food issues big time. He has Jupiter in house 7 opposite Mars. My mom is a little chubby but her weight fluctuates a lot. SHe has Jupiter opposition Ascendant. My good friend who is obese has Jupiter conjunct the MC exact and she is also a triple Cancer, with sun conjunct ascendant. My best friend who struggles with her weight has Jupiter square ascendant. So there's some examples.

I read in an astrology book once that Moon Conjunct Jupiter could indicate weight gain. Moon being the tummy and Jupiter being a planet that expands whatever it touches.

It might also just mean big emotions -_-

------------------
Amee's Natal Business
Sun in Scorp - the Brooding Emotions with Sarcastic humor female Archetype
Moon in Gem - the gossipy smiley, freespirited when stimulated Archetype
Merc in Scorp - the Paranoid Sherlock obsessed with the occult Archetype
Ven in Vir - the Naggy, misunderstood, Helpful Archetype
Mars in Scop - Loves the Edward obsessive boyfriend Archetype
Asc in Scorpio - the Approach with caution Archetype

I'm chubby, I have Jupiter in the 1st house. In case you were looking for proof. Perhaps Moon well aspected to Saturn, but my first go-to houses would be the 1st and the 6th and look for oppositions or conjunctions between Jupiter and ASC, maybe.

I would look for Jupiter, Taurus, Libra and possibly the water signs. I find water signs have a tendency to weight issues half the time.

Jupiter conjunct Ceres in Pisces, squaring Neptune on Sag-ASC.

(that is my signature; Ceres has to do with nurturing / food; Jupiter /Sag expands whatever it touches, and Pisces/Neptune dissolves any borders)

I know of someone who has Jupiter conjunct Sun in Taurus whose rising is Aquarius. She's delightfully filled out. I love her!

Did you get the answers you were looking for? I apologize it's too passé to go and check for myself.
