Mars opp mars esp at a close orb brings out the competitiveness in both. So lots of conflict but also lots of attraction.

Yeah 2 is close enough. It's good for sex and ya know that stuff... But both people's way of asserting themselves clashes and usually tension builds up pretty easily at times.
Good for intellectual debates, but probably not the best if you want a very smooth relationship.

I had the same reaction with Mars square Mars! he made a pass at me (he's the boyfriend of a family member), and was inappropriate another time, too. His Mars also conjoins my Moon/Venus/South Node.
