I thought the whole first house would matter, but I have Uranus conjunct from the 12th (Scorpio). I'm all for fairness, but I can be more judgemental when something really affects me in what I perceive to be a bad way (what feels bad for me, personally). So, I don't know how Uranian I really am. I have Neptune Conjunct Ascendant in Capricorn. On one hand, my Capricorn influence makes me very cynical and practical and hardworking. I'm always planning for the future. However, Neptune makes me somewhat similar to a Pisces ascendant in the sense that I'm very compassionate and I'm always willing to help others in need. I truly believe that most people are good at heart. I guess you could say that I'm a cynical idealist. IP: Logged |

Pluto and Venus.. Pluto is in my 12th house, conjuncting my ASC by a 2 degree orb.it does describe me VERY well. i give off an energy that people always notice, not always in a good way, either. when im not smiling or being nice, i tend to scare people with just a look. i have a seething temper that BLOWS and i become very destructive and violent. and i even have meek little Mars in Pisces. my life has often been marked by radical transformations in appearance, thought, beliefs, and living situation. i enjoy this Plutonian thing of breaking down..it helps me re-build. Pluto has made me a very strong person, indeed.
keep in mind that i already have a Scorpio ASC (and my Pluto is in Scorpio)...
my Venus is in Scorpio, too, and it is in my 1st house also conjunct my ASC (wider orb..9 degrees). It also describes me well and helps to soften the Plutonian hardness. If i didn't have Venus in my 1st house I think I'd be a very lonely person. So yeah..everything about my ASC is already extremely Pluto/Scorpio influenced. it is intense but i love it. i hate shallow depth of feeling.

Uranus Rx singleton conj ASC in 12th house. I'm generally unassuming at first. My quirks begin to show once people get to know me better. Having it Rx probably helps me not stick out like a massive sore thumb... too much IP: Logged |

I have both Uranus & Neptune conjunct my Cap ascendant I can be extremely unpredictable most of the times, but not in a bad way. I'm not exactly sure how Neptune really affects me though. Oh but as Astra said, I also think the world is a good place, even though I've always had people telling me it's a "bad bad world out there". Can't understand how someone could be completely bad :-S IP: Logged |

I have Mars conj my ASc in Aqua (Mars also trines my Uranus). It describes my intellectual nature pretty well. It also gives me an interesting Aries 'flavor' in how I appear to others. I've often been told that I make a very good first impression and that I have a "striking" appearance (whatever that means). I guess I give off a strong Air+Fire impression although I have a well-balance chart and people need to look more carefully/closely to discover my Scorpio Venus and Taurus Moon under the surface. Yes.I have Saturn conjunct Ascendant from the 12th house. I would like to think I'm a light and airy Gemini with Sag moon, and people with Mars in Capricorn have stone faces. However, from a wide base I've come to realize I too have that stone face...IF, Mars in Cap indeed has a stone face and it ain't a projection. Scenario: Inner Voice: hmmm...I think I'll get couple of those wine glasses next time I go to Ikea. Friend: What's wrong? Me: What do you mean? Friend: What's with the face? Me: What!?!? Friend: Why you so serious? Me: huh?? Friend: um, Nevermind In the past I got irritated with people when they commented about my facial expression. No more. I have Saturn in the 12 conjunct my Asc and he makes faces at people from behind me. IP: Logged |

Ya. My Chiron Conjuncts my Ascendant. My Saturn also Conjuncts my Ascendant from the 12th House. How messed up is that? lolI found this explanation, which seems to largely feel right to me because I've become some sort of "emotional healer" to those around me after a painful childhood. Chiron conjunct Ascendant You either have an inclination to help other people discover their true potentials, or will undoubtedly discover this particular quality as life unfolds. Chiron is known as the Wounded Healer and his placement in the chart reveals where we are most likely to discover this potential within ourselves. This will come from your own lessons of self-discovery through emotional, psychological or even physical wounds that you may experience in life. Spiritual healing and teaching may play an important role in your life. There may well have been some deep wounding at a very early age in one way or another, though this may now be locked away from the scrutiny of your conscious mind. This may give you some degree of difficulty in liking yourself or be critical about your own appearance. With maturity, you will overcome this. There may even be some degree of physical impairment that is a continual wound to your sense of personal well being. This does not have to be a physical disability or blemish, it could just as easily manifest as a degree of difficulty in accepting your body and its appearance. This placement endows you with a special quality of being able to heal others in some way, be that by the laying on of hands, or some form of counselling, either way this quality will manifest in later life for the benefit of others. This one seems right too.
Saturn conjunct Ascendant You strive to be seen as a responsible person. You may be inhibited from expressing yourself as confidently as you would like in the early part of your life, but in the long term it could prove to be a blessing. Unbeknown to you on a conscious level, you do have the hidden potential to gain that confidence in maturity, even gaining a position of respect and some degree of authority in society in later years. This can manifest by way of feelings of inadequacy and an inferiority complex felt in the early years. Take heart, it really does fade with the passing of the years, to be replaced with a sense of confidence and ease of expression. Learn to recognise the fact that each time you are required to take a step out into the unknown, and away from familiar territory, you will have to over come certain degree of fear. Once you are aware that this is simply one of the challenges that you specifically wrote into your own play, then you can accomplish a great deal without too much needless worry. Later on in life you will find that you will often be sought out as an authority figure in some way. You can learn to carry that authority with a degree of confidence. IP: Logged |
