Mars and Pluto in aspect in your chart simply shows a extraordinary drive, strength and the spirit of combat that is helpful in the charts of those who want to win, gain, defend and force. An aspects on its own does not indicate good or bad. It indicates a tool to use. And having Mars in aspect with Pluto makes it a strong tool!

It seems mars square pluto indicates both victim and victor depending on the situation.
Please share your findings.

Depending on which website you go on it seems the aspect of mars square pluto often attracts violence but it also is a survivors aspect in fighting violence that is unwanted.

Mars in conjunction pluto is very strong, energetic and could be sexy too. I imagine you have quite an impact on the partner in a relationship!

For me, great physical endurance, i need to push my body with outdoors pursuits that are heavy and tough. Competitive i am surely, i want to win. I worked in a sales environment and by God, did i get the sales, i was relentless, did not give up.
Outburst of agression, anger, small things trigger me off, I once smashed a motorbike with a hammer to pieces because it would not start. Mad.
Very focussed, i can concentrate on one thing and cut out all the other stuff.
It is a difficult aspect. I have mars square pluto, natal

I have Mars in Gemini trine Pluto in Libra and Mercury in Aquarius.

My energy fluctuates, but when I was in school, when I put my mind to something, I could really blow the bell curve.

I thrive on extremes and fall into obsessions pretty easily. Like, when I became an Elvis fan, I read about twenty books about him in one month and listened to him non-stop and seriously thought about running away to Graceland.

When I took a liking to the movie Walk the Line, my husband said, "Oh God...NO! I suppose we're going to be listening to nothing but Johnny Cash for the next six months?"

I also love hiking and if I had no responsibilities I would like to walk twenty miles a day. Or thirty...doesn't matter.

what about Pluto in transit to a composite Mars? what could one expect in the relationship from such a transit to it?

Thanks for the insight, really useful. I wonder if it is similar to mars in scorpio which is supposed to be ther person with amazing endurance who finishes jobs and is a bit of a powerhouse. It seems that way.

One of my exes had the trine, pluto in libra trine mars in gemini and he is very sexy, energetic and can't keep any weight on as he was so busy all the time it just dropped off him (plus he wasn't a foodie). It definately gave him strength but didn't seem like mars in scorpio as it was mental strength whereas I imagine mars in scorpio would be a more emotional/feeling orientated strength.

I have mars trine pluto with 1deg orb. If I have the drive or will to do something, it WILL happen, and no one or no thing will stop me from getting there. Of course I will still treat everyone fairly and not throw anyone under the bus for personal gain (that would violate my morals). Nevertheless, I will look for loopholes and the old saying "what they don't know won't hurt them" does get used and abused quite a bit.

I have the sextile, and some other pluto aspects so it makes me pretty darn determined and competitive (OMG I can be so competitive. But I don't step over people to get to where I want to be, not my style).
I DO fall into obsessions too LOL (I think it's more bc of my sun sextiles my pluto almost exact). Like somebody mentioned earlier, I noticed I have addictive tendencies, that's why I stay away from addictive substances and activities that prove detrimental.

firstly, there are MAJOR differnece between natal, prog and syn. Natal aspects are facets of someone's personality. Prog planets are internal matters showing how a personal has grown, elolved and progressed.

Synastry and comps, show how people interact and affect each other.

mars in hard aspect to pluto are THE most problematic. It can attract or 'give out' physical violence. The energies (in my mind) need expressing in something like sports, martial arts, bungee jumping, mountain climbing, the riskier the better to.

mars/Pluto aspects by Donna Cunningham

interaspects between two people can be highlty sexual but WILL have issues of control, power and dominance

when you get this chart, please also post the *pdf file*, above left should be *view additional tables (PDF)* This will bring up the aspect grid –at a glance planet to planet. Post the whole PDF file, what we are looking for if scroll down to ‘partner comparison’ aspect grid

Please remember to reduce the orb ratio down to 40% as the max orb between planets is 3'
