Hi Platero,

I bury mostly everything, Saturn in the 12th house. But I watch movies and read books that I relate to, which make me cry and laugh, and it's very cathartic.

I hardly ever get angry at people. If I do, I gossip about them to my best friend who always takes my side. If I get REALLY angry, I can be like a verbal laser beam tearing people apart (Cap sun, Pluto 3rd house, Mars in Gemini) so I'm glad that doesn't happen often.

Not sure this is a helpful post.

All the best, anyway.

Good idea about martial arts, but I don't think it will appeal to your Cappy Mars. Yoga?

I have H12 Merc, and it's about not having need to share thoughts, for example. The nature of H12 isn't about expression, and that's what makes its burden,in return.

It is when we interact with other people, and noticing their ease of expressing, we become obsessed with the 'other side'.

Emotions are to be expressed, and intensity may not be part of social decorum, but you may want to share and not to be expressive,in general? Find somebody close, whom you can trust, fully. H12 is about trust, but in that instinctual way,'Don't know why,but I do'. Also,it is self-suficient house, like H8. While there may be need for connection, for those are water houses, they are also self-purposeful.

I never settle for less,(and I understand everything you wrote) even at the expense of company. Just,if it isn't within my values-department,there is no appeal in that whatsoever. I hate when people don't dig deeper, hate when they stroll through life as idle little gits, but it doesn't get me down, because I believe there are people who can be my match. Don't care when it happens, quality over quantity.

I think you should be proud of yourself, for being such an interesting creature

You sound exactly like my bf, he also has saturn in the 12th house conjunct sun.

He likes romance movies, I like Sci-Fi....it's all good

It's funny because the other night he asked me something along the lines of 'why do you explore so deep into yourself' and my answer was 'so I can understand myself more..even if it means bad things too. I like to know my reasons for doing what I do and reacting the way I do."

and he said "I wouldn't dare..."

In general, I feel constant pressure to cover up and put away my intensity, because "people don't like it". I often feel resentful of people who don't appreciate this part of me, which CAN be used for good, and I can't help but think of them as weak and cowardly. A lot of my relationships are nothing but disappointing, lukewarm at best, and unsatisfying because people fear going deeper, fear exploring emotionally, fear really "going there".

I resonate with all of that. I have Venus conj. Pluto in Scorpio, as well, but in the 2nd House. So I wouldn't necessarily attribute that to your conjunction's placement in the 12th House. However, you are correct in that the 12th House is the House of Repression. I've known many a Sun/Moon in 12th to lead miserable existences in which they never truly express how they feel. Venus/Pluto only allows those they deem worthy to know how they feel. If they don't feel that person is worthy of their respect, they'll render it beneath them to let the person know. There's a big pride issue with Venus/Pluto. They are deep, on a humane level, and the only real fulfilling relationships you will have will be with people with strong Plutos themselves, or those with planets that activate your Venus/Pluto conjunction.

As you said, Venus/Pluto makes for a lot of pent up emotions--creativity, rather. You can channel all of that "intensity" into truly wonderful works of art. Personally, Yoga, painting, and singing do the trick.

venus in scorpio is in detriment http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detriment_(astrology)
BUT is well aspected in fact it's in a water grand trine, which shows it does express well with easy flowing energies. It can suggest romance is kept very private if not secret.

do other people with twelfth-house planets bury emotions, especially ones that are unpleasant or intense? How do you cope with the feelings that you have to bury and hide?

When we talk abour emotions, you should be research MOON and your moon is involved in grand trine, but also has two challenges, lookng at your 'red lines' so moon opp mars = bossy mother and emotionally assertive nature. Domicile in cancer AND in 8th house of scorpio.

I have a lot of anger towards several people in my life, but I can't express it to them. For one thing, none of these people really care about me, so expressing it would not make them budge one inch. I have to see most of them socially, so if I say the wrong thing, it could mess up me up in my social circles.

Anger belongs to mars, and your mars in 2nd is involved in common T Square, the square to mercury, has tendency to talk quickly and very active mind, BUT it also adds argumentativeness to..

research your T Square. This is imporant Lesson for you as your North Node is opp mercury (the missing leg) so karmic lessons are involved with this T Square..

Now, this is describing your venus in 12th precisely

I use Equal House system (where each cusp is same as Ascendant) and am a modern astrologer. Lots of newcomers come into Astrology/forums and get a free chart from astro and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few others if you wish to experiment…..

Within the mainstream are placidus/equal houses (the default on astro is placidus) only difference being some planets may move from one house to another thereby altering it's interpretation and it's 'only' with research will you find which /planets 'fit you' in which houses. So my advice, do two charts, research any planets that move houses and see which you identity with - simple

Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAwGtMWl4z4

Now in Equal house Pluto would be 11th house

Pluto in 11th House - succeedent
Loner. Not lonely but aware you are alone. Very few intimate friends. Friends will bend your ear because they know you are good at keeping secrets. Lost friends through death
Won't ask favours from friends. Not powerfully placed here.Reformist tendencies expressed in friendships and groups or will attract powerful friends. Great leadership qualities

YOUR pluto is well aspected

Ruler of the Twelfth House in the Eleventh House

"There could be a strong past life connection with your friends. You could also have a kind of predestined involvement with certain organizations and large groups of people. You may feel a desire to help others through humanitarian efforts and organizations. You may experience confusion about your friends. Radical behavior that stems from rebelliousness simply for the sake of upsetting other people's applecarts can work against you eventually. Look for the common ground between yourself and others. Humans all have certain fundamental goals that are similar, the only real difference is the paths taken to achieve them." http://www.skyviewzone.com/astrology/houserulerships.htm#hr12

Never post anyone's chart unless they say it's okay in advance. I removed it.

I don't care if you reply, Saggi. It's just not OK to post my chart.

Replying is fine. Posting my chart without my permission is NOT fine.

I recommend Karate. I myself studied Tae Kwon Do, which is similar but involves the legs equally. Martial Arts provides discipline, focus and stress relief. It improves one's psychological state and frame of mind.
