I thought you might like this Lovers–Heart and Soul
By amiann | Published: February 12, 2012

For a lover who will hold you tenderly, you need soul mate aspects. The fling will be long gone. He left when the fireworks dimmed. Soul mate aspects revolve around understanding. If you have to explain something ad infinitum, you are not soul mates. Soul mates understand, more or less. Soul mates center around the moon. The moon is our deepest heart. We show it to a child, an animal and God. We show it to a lover.Understanding heart to heart cannot be made. It can’t be forced or bought. It is moon touching moon, bar none. If you don’t have moon touching moon, you are not soul mates, in my opinion.Soul mates involve other aspects and asteroids, too. There must be passion. Passion may be Mars/Venus, which is exciting but not “rock my world”. “Rock my world” involves Pluto. Moon/Pluto is the most intense. It is that wonderful combination of ” child to child” and passion. If you never revved a BMW from zero to ninety, don’t talk to me about Moon/Pluto. Moon/Pluto exists in a class by itself. Venus/Pluto is the stuff of soul mates, too. Soul mate love is passion PLUS love, respect and admiration Asteroid-wise,Vesta, which is selfless devotion, may be involved. Juno, which is the loyal and devoted wife energy, may be present. Ceres, which is unconditional love, may be there.Valentine which is sacrificial love i.e throw oneself under the bus love, may be there. Attraction is fine. Life goes on because of attraction, but soul mate takes it up a notch. It is the stuff of poems and love songs. Hold out for it.The other pales, in comparison.

Thank you for sharing. The moon aspects I found interesting and makes sense. Although personally, I am a not comfortable with people telling people this is what soulmate is and how it's suppose to be. How can we tell people what love is? what a soulmate is? it's different for everyone.
Juno is a personal favorite. It's always been significant in my experience. Venus/Pluto and Moon/Pluto....is a doozy. Expect your old self to shed a lot.

Let's see, my Pluto is conjunct my husband's moon EXACTLY.

Um....we got engaged after one date.

There is a lot of difficult other stuff in this relationship, but any time I envision life without him....it's like the search for him would just begin again.

Are you in love, Amy?
I knew you wrote that from personal experience (I mean I sensed it).

I thought Mars in Scorpio was my fave aspect and Moon trine Venus, my second. However, moon trine moon is just what the heart yearns for. It is soul food.

I have Moon trine Moon with someone, and his Pluto trines mine. It didn't last and my heart is not yearning for him, in fact I can't stand him. But then again a lot of humans disgust me.

My Moon is pretty poorly aspected though. It's like my chart is screaming, "Just don't go there!"

I've had moon trine moon and moon trine venus with quite a few people. It's no biggy.

I DID however like moon conjunct moon tight, and when I had moon conjunct venus tight. They were nice. I've had moon conjunct pluto before (1.5 degrees) and it was ok, kinda love hate in tone.

I liked eros/psyche aspects. I had eros conjunct psyche and eros square psyche both by 1 degree with an ex. That was intense. In combo with all our aspects, it was like BAM!!

Call me crazy, but I've always been a fan of Venus-saturn aspects in synastry, except the squares.

For Romance, those neptune aspects get me :] lol

I have an unaspected Venus, so a Saturn seems too strong. I don't think I have ever had moon trine moon. It is the best, for me. I am a Cancer moon, when all is peeled away. That is who I am

You do realize putting a rolling eyes icon while asking my sun sign is a form of disrespect. Im not fooled by the smiling icon. I would try to learn to not get upset by people disagreeing. Its a lesson we need to all learn.
