Favorite Venus/7th house synastry experiences….In honor of Valentine’s day lets talk about Venus and 7th house synastry… tells us about some of your favorite experiences involving the synastry of Venus, and the 7th house… and how it felt for you (the 7th house, and it’s ruler, can function as a ‘second Venus’ if you will)… also, you can talk about other romantic synastry if you have good examples… I’ll go first… my big crush in high school had his Mars conjunct my Venus…. When I remember back on it now, he was just alright looking…. But for some reason I thought he was extremely vibrant and attractive…. (he also had his Venus square my Mars, and conjunct my Uranus)… Here’s another one….I’m usually not into Virgo’s …. I have Jupiter in the 7th , and a Gemini Dsc ruled Mercury in Sag (I usually go for fire and Air signs)…. But there’s this one actor who is a Virgo that I thought was really attractive for some reason….. So I look up his chart... only to discover that his Mars is in Sag, and it conjuncts my Mercury /7th house ruler…. And that his Venus is in Libra sextile this Mercury/7th house ruler…. Also, he has Moon in Cancer falling into my 7th or 8th house, Saturn conjunct my antivirtex, and his Sun sextiles my Moon and squares my Venus… I remember thinking ‘well, now it makes sense!’.

Well, its Valentine's Day  My wife's Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Pluto and Uranus in Virgo touches my 7th House. My Sun, Mars and Mercury in Capricorn touches my wife's 7th House. Our composite 7th House has Sun, Mars, Venus, Mecury and Neptune in Scorpio. Haha   19 years... still going strong... I remember that Valentine's Day before I met her. I took two different girls out that day and had no attachment to either. I was going broke feeding so many different girls and I think I spent money on something ridiculous like five dozen roses (for five different girls! without liking any of them!). I finally met my wife about 1-1/2 weeks after Valentine's Day. IP: Logged |

Wow YTA, that's an incredible composite chart!  Happy for you both. My Cap sun is in my husband's 7th house...and that's all I can say for our houses! The 7th in composite is empty.  Well my Venus tines his sun, his Venus trines mine.  His Saturn is conjunct my Venus and Neptune in Sag, my Saturn is (widely) conjunct his Leo stellium. Yep, the ol' ball & chain  is there. And here’s a fun example of a Venus transit experience that I’d like to shear…In my natal chart I have Venus at 29 Sag quincunx the Moon at 29 Cancer…. I’ve noticed that whenever transiting Venus is at 29 Aries or Libra trining/ sextiling my Venus, and squaring my Moon… that for about a day, or a little more, I get into this really affectionate mood…. I mean it’s really strong! I feel all sweet and warm like I just want to hug someone, and I start feeling all hopeful and romantic. I had noticed this a few times over a couple of years…. And one time when I wasn’t keeping track of the planets I started to get the feeling and thought ‘OMG where’s Venus today‘…. And sure enough…. I looked it up and Venus was at 29 Libra… I think the Venus/Venus soft aspect makes the flow of affection ‘easy’, while the Venus/Moon square causes an ‘intense’ reaction to warmth and affection on an emotional level… I haven’t really noticed the same thing with Venus in late Pisces and Virgo…which would be square my Venus and trine/ sextile to my Moon… but that could be cause I haven’t been paying that much attention, so I’ll look for this more in the future… Also, if anyone wants to share some Venus or 7th house transit stories that would be fun to….and they don’t have to be ‘happy’ stories…. Cautionary tales are fine to…

My favourite venus aspect in synastry is Venus conjunct Jupiter  Soo much fun, love and good feelings, its absolutely amazing in friendships too!Then once i met with a guy whose Venus was exactly on my AC and I really thought that he was the cutest guy on Earth :P Sun-Venus conjunction/trine is very nice too! I really like mercury connections. Dunno, somebody that can connect with me mentally is uber attractive.Mercury conjunct venus, moon conjunct venus, mercury conjunct mercury, or tight (1.5 degrees or less) trines are great.
I've had 7th house conjunctions. Dunno why it didn't affect me much. I have my moon, venus and mercury in 7th house Libra (they're all conjuncting), and there once was a guy who had his sun and mars exact conjunct my mercury, his moon tightly conjunct my moon and venus, and our venus and mars were conjunct too. He also had his mercury conjunct my mars and sun o_O.
But I wasn't into him for some reason. So I guess synastry doesn't always play out the way you think it would.
