Venus in Libra in Female( Venus in it’s Domicile)
By amiann | Published: February 16, 2012 |

Venus is our love nature. It shows what we love:what we find beautiful. All people have a different aesthetic. Beauty is, truly, in the eye of the beholder. One can understand this, if one studies Venus. Venus is what we FIND beautiful. Mars is the AGGRESSION with which we go after it. Keep this in mind and you will be on your way to understanding that special person, and yourself. The planet Venus is a yin planet, as is the Moon. It receives the energy of other planets( and people). Mars is a yang planet, as you might imagine. It acts on other planets(people). The glyph for Venus is the sign of the female. The glyph for Mars is the sign of the male. As such, the male pursues the female. The male has the drive. The female receives him, biologically speaking.

Back to Venus. Venus is in it’s Domicile(Home) in Libra. Venus in Libra is the best of Venus. It is Venus dressed in a tasteful, black dress with pearls, pumps and pearls, going out for a day at the Museum. Picture wise, Venus in Libra is the painting of the nude, eating grapes, with a few too many fat rolls. This Venus loves to eat.It loves it’s creature comforts. Picture a satisfied cat, purring. Before the ladies throw the proverbial tomatoes at me, Venus in Libra does not have to be fat. However, she will, always, be like that purring cat and lady eating grapes fed to her by an admiring man, in her deepest heart.

I thought you might like this. Remember, for all you picky people, one takes artistic license for interest

Oh my...the Venus in Libra girls that I know have the worst fashion sense...I love them but it's just...no.
One has an interesting style but wears too much make up.
Maybe one needs to have a Libra Venus to appreciate their fashion sense.

They are sweet though!

I find extremy interesting that you find 'artistic' as opposed to picky

Venus is also about how we give out and receive back affection, love.

also venus is how we earn money and spend it, depending on aspects and house position.

Sweet post Ami.

I like the sound of a Libra Venus, but I rarely, if ever, identify with it.

My mum has this! It definitely suits her

Yes she loves museums actually! And always dresses tastefully.

honestly i'm not sure :] i have so many water placements after reading ami's post, i don't really know how i identify with venus.

all i can say is i do love nature and art. as for my fashion sense, its bascially elegant/causal. When I think of clothes I think "more is more" as in I like to be covered from top to bottom.. never been into wearing small, tight outfits. Oh but I ♥ jewelry especially necklaces and rings, the bigger the better lol. finally, I rarely wear make up, only on special occasions.

Doux Rêve, I had no idea you were a Libra Venus. Just wanted to say real quick.. I don't post much, but when I read through and come across some of yours, I always agree with or identify with them. Must be our Libra resonance.

i thot this was the better venus among the 2 venus ruled signs coz they are fair and compromise while venus in taurus is fixed and stubborn lol! VIT can also be abit selfish. but then since it is an air venus it is more focused on thought and not action compared to the earth venus. but then it's a cardinal sign so i dunno really, i am venus in taurus in h7. i have been with venus in libra females tho. noice venus. wonder if the compromising traits can make them abuse magnets?

my venus is 29" virgo and i've always wondered how different my interests in relationships would be if i'd been born the next day. single for the majority of my 30 years, mostly due to having minimal interest in becoming a "partner". only over the past two or three years has that part of me begun to show itself. i'm sure i'd have got started a bit earlier with a venus in libra like way too early. scarrry thought actually....my 5th and 7th houses are comlteley desolate too, and it shows lol

Lucky, I have Venus inconjunct my Moon lol. Yea I agree, I've never been the kind of girl that wanted attention from guys in a sexual way.

I can relate.
I often feel like my Venus is overpowered by my other placements. But I guess it all depends on the situation

And I love jewelry too!
And perfume.
Clothes, not so much, but I do appreciate beautiful things.

Oh why, you're the sweetest thing Olivia!
Thank you.

I actually remember you.
You seem so incredibly Venusian.
I guess that's not surprising though, you've got a stellium in there and your Ascendant!

Ps. You should post more, I'd love to hear more from you

I agree with this.
In my opinion Venus is more dignified in Libra than in Taurus. Taurus is still a comfortable position for Venus, of course, but it's a personal sign, so it's probably more self-centered and "selfish" compared to the Libra Venus simply because Libra is the sign of partnerships. Plus Taurus is a fixed sign and is famous for its stubborness, whereas Libra is all about compromise.
I guess they just manifest quite differently, they don't necessarily have the same focus.

And yes to the abuse part.
I think Libra placements are at risk, big time. People who have a strong Libra influence usually try hard to please others, and in turn people take advantage of them and easily abuse them. So they should really strive to develop some Arian qualities and assert themselves more, and not put up with bad behavior.
