what do you guys think of:

female's sun/moon midpoint being conjunct composite SUN

male's sun/moon midpoint being conjunct composite MOON

both by less than 1/10th of a degree

????

is this twin souls territory? perhaps? seems pretty rare, yeah?

I was thinking it was rare, too; I have it myself in a composite with someone (have never had it in any of my other composites).

Just in my case it was:
female Sun/Moon-mp conjunct composite Moon
male Sun/moon-mp conjunct composite Sun
(and in DAvison it was repeated just as an opposition; female Sun/Moon-mp oppospite composite Moon; and male Sun/Moon-mp opposite composite Sun).

When I met him, Tr Juno was conjunct composite Sun and his Sun/Moon-mp; Tr Jupiter was conjunct composite Moon and my Sun/Moon-mp (I thought it was funny that I was having Tr JUPITER on my Sun/Moon-mp and met a SUPER SAG. ).

Additionally we have a natal Psyche-Psyche-conjunctions, and it is progressing in step.
At the time I met him both our pr Psyche had progressed to conjunct his natal Eros. lol

Anyway back to your question: I still think it might not be that often that this happens, but apparently it DOES happen at times.

oh p.s. sorry for thinking you had a taurus moon before! i think i got you confused w/ someone else from the olden golden days on LL.

Do you and him have ascendants in hard aspect under 3 orb? Do you have every single planet either conjunct or in opposition in the synastry?

You just look at each persons Sun/Moon midpoint and compare them to the composite Sun and Moon.

I would be more impressed if HIS or HER planets were conj their sun/moon midpoints. What orbs were you using?

Just remember the composite describes neither of you, but THE relationship as a separate entity and only functions when actually IN a relationship.

I like midpoints and have written some ideas here...

Basic astrology forum, How to approach Synastry http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum12/private-jjLYZw161/HTML/000667.html
To enter this forum you need an extra password – astrology….

Please remember to reduce the orb ratio down to 40% (ONLY for syn bi wheel) as the max orb between planets is 3'. To enter this forum you need an extra password – astrology….Composite should be 85% orbs

when you get this chart, please also post the *pdf file*, above left of chart look for *view additional tables (PDF)* This will bring up 2pages –at a glance planet to planet. Scroll down to last page and *aspect grid* (ONLY for syn bi wheel) THIS is very important as it seems to show more aspects than is visible on the bi wheel…

problem is uploading to photobucket you have to change this from abode format into a picture. This is done by getting the relevant page/grid/bit in front of you,on screen then( if bit big press ctrl and - to reduce image). the press ‘prtsc sysrq’ - top row inbetween pause break and F12. This has copied to clipboard.

Paste into Paint or some other photo software. Crop the picture and save to hard drive, then upload to photobucket, select chart press IMG and past link into thread.... done

Did you all know that it's always there when there's a Sun/Moon conjunction in synastry?

In the case of Woah it's his Sun and her Moon with an orb of less than 2/10th of a degree... and with Ceridwen it's the other way around his Moon conjunct her Sun by..?

But let's not cry, a Sun/Moon conjunction is GREAT!

~~

Just a matter of Geometry

athenegoddess,

no we don't have ascendants in hard aspect but his IC is conjunct my DC by less than two. since we were born the same year we have many conjunctions. but interestingly, our suns and moons aspect one anothers' and as for our personal planets, we each have each have a late fire stellium, so all of our planets are in contact with one another. to my gandering that in itself seems pretty rare.

ariesdragon,

you can google 'astrology midpoint calculator' for a good online one, or find it in special charts at astro.com (third option in chart type selection).

saggiMC,

it's funny cuz this guy is a saggiMC too and he's all about providing information like you are so i always get a chuckle when i see your informative posts

and yeah i realize it has to be a 'real relationship' but we were eachothers' first bf/gf when we were 16 and 17 and then also briefly got together again last year. so i would say our composite 'counts' since we have had enough relational experience, i would think!

well, would you count our composite moon being conjunct my ceres and his eros by 1 deg for much (as well as his sun/moon mp)??

but yeah the orbs were very tight; 1/10th of a deg for both. so you would like me to upload our synastry and aspect pdf aspect grid? or composite?

mir!

i was wondering if it had to do with that (duh! i'm pretty slow sometimes!) but! i changed the year for him which gave him a new moonsign and our composite moon changed then i realized, it's cuz our moons oppose, aswell. so IF i'm thinking straight (unlikely), it seems there has to be a sun/moon conjunction AND a moon/moon opposition for the comp sun and moon to be cj each sun/moon midpoint.

astrology is so fascinating. saw him last night for the first time in a few months and we were both THRILLED to see eachother. checked the chart later and sun was cj our composite venus, same deg. i knew i'd run into him too.

Ok, another try to bring you down to earth..

So, it has nothing to do with HIS Moon. But it has everything to do with the Sun/Moon conjunction you have (YOUR Moon and HIS Sun).

You did forget that when you changed his Year ALSO his Sun/Moon midpoint changed!

So wherever his Moon is...
Because of the Sun/Moon conj. in synastry the distance/Point will always be the same between;
- his Moon and your Moon (= Composite Moon)
- his Moon and his Sun (= his Sun/Moon midpoint)

= ofcourse his Sun/Moon midpoint conj. the Composite Moon.

Did I succeed now?

Mir,

thanks for the information. I didn`t know that, but makes sense of course.
You got through to me the first time, too.

So, to answer the originial question, it is probably not that rare. Well as rare as a Sun-Moon-conjunction in synastry obviously.

So in my case, it is my Sun conjunct his Moon, so the situation and aspects are reversed, and my Sun/Moon-mp is conjunct composite Moon and his is conjunct composite Sun?

well, someone analysed our charts and commented that he possibly or potentially was my twinsoul or someone close to it.
But I don`t think he is.

I just find it so interesting that even though he was a stranger and actually still is, he feels so familiar, and I am feeling very comfortable around him, even physically comfortable, and I am VERY distanced physically usually.

This reaction makes me curious and intrigues me, but that is really all there is. No twinsoul-stuff.

mir, OH I GOT IT NOW!!!

ceridwen, aha, yes that sun moon conjunction is lovely. have it with another person who's moon is cj my sun and i feel that way too. super familiar and great connection, but nah i don't think he's my t.s. either

and yes i just checked and we have this pattern too and it finally all made sense. heh.

would it be crazywacky to infer from this somehow that i am more 'in charge' here by virtue of my sun/moon being the composite sun??

seems weird and contradictory that this happens from my moon cj his sun, tho, since that would imply traditional gender roles by my estimation..?

This cannot be, sun and moon in composite is the midpoint of YOUR sun and his sun and YOUR moon and HIS moon. composites vibrate to transits. It could be that your natal chart around the outside of a composite, could show which of you relates better to THE relationship though....

do the research pls

i am not sure what you are saying cannot be. that my sun moon midpoint cannot be conjunct our composite sun, i am assuming.

i know what a composite chart is, but thank you. with all due respect, would you mind not replying to me anymore please. i find you to be a bit condescending (or maybe it is only that you skim and do not get your info right but feel that you have all the info- something like that i think maybe) and you also do not answer my questions or comments to you so i do not see the point of us conversing. thanks.
