How do you feel Moon in the 9th plays out in your life? Is your family religious? Are they multi-cultural? What's your philosophy of life and how did you come to adopt it? Are you emotional, or not very? Do you desire a job that allows you to travel internationally? Are you musical?

just saying your moon is in 9th house tells me very little. What sign is it in will tell me how if functions, where it functions is 9th and how it functions are *aspects*

Moon in 9th is classic "I want to emigrate and live abroad at some point" aspect. Depending on exactly how it's aspected. IF for example it has a hard aspect to Saturn, then NO it will be reciticent to express little.

you may of course have other interests like higher education, long distance travel, religion etc. etc

Ninth House

"The Ninth house represents the development of the mind. Here we find all things related to higher learning, such as universities, professors, and continuing education programs. The ninth house is really like third house matters expanded.
Life philosophies, religion, gurus, preachers, spiritual experiences, your ideas about God and belief systems of any kind belong to the ninth house. The religious aspect of the ninth house is generally more orthodox and dogmatic in nature.
Foreign people, places, languages and things are ninth house areas, as well as long journeys and visits overseas. Here in the ninth is where we also find the great outdoors, country life, nature, getting away from it all, large animals, sports and athletic pursuits. First spouse in-laws reside here, too.
Large scale publishing and big time advertising campaigns are also ruled by the ninth house. The ninth house is also courts of law, judges and the judicial system in general.
The ninth house corresponds to Sagittarius and so any planets in this house function with some underlying Sagittarius style. Additionally, the ninth house represents expansion of anything, wanting freedom, and moral codes and ethics" http://www.skyviewzone.com/astrology/houses.htm#house9

So you have Moon in Gemini in the 9th House, too. I'm curious as to how that makes us emotionally? Non-emotional? Always rationalizing?

Virgo Moon in 9th here. I'm actually in the process of applying to teach in Korea, after which I'd like to go to grad school. Not religious or interested in philosophy much, though. Emotionally, I am constantly analyzing how I feel and probably not allowing myself to just feel.

What’s your 9th House cusp? Which sign is the ruler in? In which house is it located?! Sorry, just curious When it comes down to some things, I wanna ensure that one sole placement is not an end all be all.
For instance, not all 9th House Suns are religious freaks as they say - unless, they were to also have, a second active Sagittarius persona planet/9th House placement.

------------------
Cancer Rising
2nd House Leo Sun
3rd House Leo Mercury
6th House Sagittarius Moon & Pluto
1st House Cancer Venus & Mars
9th House Pisces Jupiter conjunct MC.
