Hi everyone,I just realized that my older sister's sun, moon, and mercury (tight stellium) fall in my 12th house, and we have an extremely difficult relationship. Do you think we sense where our planets fall in other people's houses? For example, is it possible that I represent a kind of "prison" to my sister...or does she represent it to me, perhaps? I kind of feel like she does. For a long time I felt like I could not be a "whole person" without being able to fix my relationship with my sister. Have you had any weird experiences with this? Or pleasant? Like if my Venus falls in your third house will you find it easier to talk to me, maybe? Thanks for any input. IP: Logged |

I'm not any good at this but have you tried the following link? Maybe it'll help you if you haven't http://www.skyviewzone.com/lovematch/sunsynastryhouse.htm Although this is a partner interpretation thing. IP: Logged |

Hi faith, synastry is a complex business, but generally I would say that as I am 1' Aquarius rising, do easily and naturally get on with any Aquarius as their sun will fall in my first house. So it would be the same for them, a sort of natural affinity if you like.Basic astrology forum, How to approach Synastry http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum12/private-jjLYZw161/HTML/000667.html To enter this forum you need an extra password – (astrology) Please remember to reduce the orb ratio down to 40% (ONLY for synastry bi wheel) as the max orb between planets is 3'. Composite should be 85% orbs when you get this SYNASTRY chart, please also post the *pdf file*, above left of chart look for *view additional tables (PDF)* This will bring up 2pages. Scroll down to last page for the *aspect grid* THIS is very important as it seems to show more aspects than is visible on the bi wheel… problem is uploading to photobucket (or imageshack) you have to change this from Aabode format into a picture/jpeg format. This is done by getting the relevant page/grid in front of you on screen then, the press ‘prtsc sysrq’ - top row inbetween pause break and F12. This has been copied to clipboard. Paste into Paint or some other photo software. Crop the picture and save to hard drive, then upload to photobucket, select chart, press IMG and past link into thread.... all done Lastly, by making the effort to post the correct charts AND aspect grid will ensure that you are serious in your enquiry and will guarantee (from me at least) a serious response……if you are simply here to get a freebie or are just curious but can’t be bothered to make the effort to post the correct charts then I won’t bother making an effort to delineate them. In this case I will simply refer to a website that offers Free interactive models (like astro.com, astrology3d.com and grupovenus.com) for your amusement… This forum (as all forums) are unpaid, free help and advice from lots of professionals (like myself) and enthusiastic amateurs, who do this for the ‘love of astrology’ and genuinely want members to learn about themselves and partners through this ‘science and art’ we call astrology…… OR try this convert image from Abode format to Jpeg to upload to photobucket, using this free software conversion site.. http://www.pdf-to-jpg.org/[/URL] astro.com on free horoscopes tab, scroll down to interactive, 'astroclick partner' so you sun falling in your sisters 12th? Sun in a partner’s twelfth house: "When your Sun is in your romantic partner’s twelfth house, your partner finds you intriguingly mysterious, and has a tendency to surrender his or her will to the subtle but pervasive influence you hold over him or her. When your relationship partner’s Sun is in your twelfth house, there is a deeply mystical quality to your relationship. You will tend to have a greater receptivity to emotional vibrations, introspection and spiritual experiences. You find it easier to align with your partner’s goals, and may have a greater willingness to make sacrifices to help him or her." http://www.skyviewzone.com/lovematch/sunsynastryhouse.htm ------------------ I love the parable, “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, BUT if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for life.”

my brother`s Sun, ASC and Mercury fall into my 3rd house (with his Sun being conjunct my chartruler Jupiter), my Sun, Mercury, Neptune and NN fall into his 9th house, with my Sun and Mercury being conjunct his Chartruler Neptune. Some would even count my Mars and ASC as being in his 9th house (they are only 4 and 2 degrees off the housecusp). We are talking all the time,w hen we get together. EVen if we want to keep it short, and then we check the clock, and it is like 3 hours later, and all we have done was sitting around in the kitchen, drinking coffee or cooking a bit and talking, like there was no more time in the future for that. So I`d say in our case the 3rd and 9th house placements definitely make sense. (we have some strong synastric aspects there as well, though; it is not simply the planets falling into these houses). even the ruler of both our 3rd houses are trine each other. lol IP: Logged |

Thank you for the replies!SaggiMC, I appreciate your input. Sometimes I get lost looking at all the stuff in your posts. Would you consider formatting differently so the immediately relevant points stand out from the lengthy posting guidelines? Ceridwen, that's really interesting about your brother. I have Libra in the 3rd, I'm from the Libra Pluto generation, maybe that's why my conversations with people are generally verrrrrrry long and intense, too? I hate the telephone because I can never get off the thing. My sister, whose planets fall in my 12th, is bipolar, and I have sadly been in the position of having to consider hospitalizing her against her will. Maybe that's part of what my chart is saying. libra rules my natal 8th house, and i was in a relationship with a girl who had libra sun, moon, mercury ,and venus, so they all fell in my 8th house in synastry, i had never felt more sexually attracted to someone in my whole life and havent since, she felt it too,but i felt it stronger, she definitely had a hold over me. i have read that both people feel it but the house person feels it more. since her planets fall in your twelfth house is it possible that there is deception going on? lack of boundaries? maybe you both see in each other things you deny in yourselves?IP: Logged |

Thank you, venus. It's something I'll probably have to deal with for the rest of my life.

Thanks for helping to answer my question. Your relationship with the Libra stellium girl sounds intense! Sorry to hear it ended. Your question, that I put in bold, is very perceptive and strikes at the heart of the matter. In some ways, I'm jealous of her. In other ways, she mortifies me...from the time I was a teenager, I've been terrified that I would turn out like her. Pretty weird...I have Uranus in the 3rd house and she's not my only eccentric sibling!

12th house synastry has been a fascination of mine for a while now as I explore my 12th house--the placements all have karmic implications for me. As such, when people fall in my 12th house, it is almost always a karmic soul mate relationship....and as such, they are pretty challenging experiences. But, I love this sort of synastry because I feel so much of myself being unearthed. In the end, if and when the relationships end (which they almost always do), I feel I have learned so much. I do think there is some sort of reciprocal 'you see in me what I can't see in myself, and I see in you, what you can't see in yourself.' The moon falling in your 12th, I've experienced that with almost all of such relationships and I am now experiencing it with a mercury added to that. It is pretty challenging and can be exhuasting--a lot of 'reflection,' undoing and communication difficulties. IP: Logged |

SaggiMC, I wasn't asking for help. Who asked about neptune, uranus and, or pluto anyway? This is *almost* like spam, in so many ways. IP: Logged |
