Anyone experienced Saturn transiting through their 12th house? What was the experience like? Also, what was in your 12th house? Lastly, what did you learn from Saturn going through this watery subconscious house? IP: Logged |

i have it natally ,sun and north node are also conjunct it,not going to sugarcoat it,its not fun, alot of challenges come with saturn in the twelfth,my experience has been a lack of discipline and self control, saturn being the planet that represents these things being in the twelfth makes it hard for me to access the responsible self disciplined side of myself, but the fact it is conjunct my capricorn north node means i have to learn these lessons or suffer, everytime i am irresponsible it really comes back to hurt me,i am always held accountable no matter what, its like i cant make a mistake i have to be perfect and master my life, i also have the absent father,i was never given direction or discipline,i have had to learn it on my own,i'm not sure how the transit is but i imagine it would be similar,my friend has transiting saturn in his twelfth and he said this has been the most trying time of his life IP: Logged |

the main lesson of saturn in the twelfth i think is being accountable for your actions and not running from responsibility.IP: Logged |

It felt like the world was coming apart at the seams around me, and that I was complete toast with many things in my life. I forced myself to keep going though, and not let the fears and restrictions I felt keep me down. I came out the other end really well off. Just keep on keeping on .------------------ It's All Elemental ----- My Chart if relevant IP: Logged |

What tautomer said. I have it natally and in transit everything fell apart. In this order: I lost my job that I loved; lost my best friend who moved in another country; lost the love of my life. When Saturn was done with me, I wasn't sure of the reasons I had to keep living. And yes, the only lesson I got was that everything passes. The losses seemed pointless and I'm the type of person who sees good in most things that happen. IP: Logged |

Of course. I have Saturn natally in my 12th House and in Aquarius. I have not had father involvement in my life. The difference is that I am a Capricorn Sun, and so the Ruler of my 10th House is Saturn. Yes, I had a miserable childhood. But Saturn has been a very positive influence in my life. Discipline and self-control comes naturally, probably because I am inherently a Capricorn. I am a harsh taskmater and have ultra high expectations of myself and others. My expectations drive my will to succeed and my ambitions. I wouldn't be where I am today career wise or marriage wise if not for Saturn. My kids wouldn't be pushed to succeed to the extent that they do without Saturn influence. I just completed a whole Saturn transit myself through my 12th House and the overall experience was neutral to mildly positive. The only thing that tempered the experience is the crappy company I work for and the half-baked incompetent people I work with.

Very sorry for your loses. What is your natal Saturn in? I got sun in my 12th house and it was horrible for me..but now I'm trying to slowly pull myself out of it. Sun in libra. I know someone with Saturn conjunct sun in the 12th and he's gonna go thru this transit starting oct 2012 when Saturn enters Scorpio. Any pointers or how to interpret this transit through the watery house for someone who has it there natally? IP: Logged |

I am the proud owner of a 12th house Saturn, conjunct Jupiter. I don't know if I have any advice, prior to this transit I thought I did the required homework. I spent roughly five years studying and learning spirituality and yet the transit hit like a ton of bricks. I don't know what I would have done without this preparation though, so maybe your friend could learn some grounding techniques, yoga, whatever discipline appeals to him or her.In Saturn's defense, I did have a spiritual epiphany if I can call it that, afterwards, while it transited my 1st and I think was opposing natal Sun/Ven/Mars. I sort of died while living, although I can't really explain the experience. It's still in my 1st, but almost at the end, thank God. Thank you for your kind words! IP: Logged |

Saturn transitting the 12th still stands as the worst period of my life, but the second it crossed over my ascendant, it started to turn into the best. I'm a better person after having it go through my 12th and 1st. You just have to keep on keeping on as another person said. Always learn from the lessons, never toss them aside or the next one is going to smack you across the face even harder. IP: Logged |

Same here. I wish I'd been able to hold myself together - this is the second time around for me. IP: Logged |

Me, too. I've been experiencing small spells of happiness again, but I'm amazed at the things that have happened, how much has been taken (and how much I still have to lose) - it's too much. I'd only just really been experiencing life again, before it was taken from me again (confidence, loved ones, etc). I wake up almost every day, scared and depressed. IP: Logged |

I agree... Also wanted to add if you have any secrets this is probably the time they will come to light. Which is part of taking responsibility for your actions... IP: Logged |

I am also very curious in what occurs when Saturn transits my 12th house. For me this will begin in October 2012. I have only heard of negative things happening when saturn transits the 12th house so I hope its not too bad. IP: Logged |

I know of someone who will have this transit right after his saturn return and saturn conjunct venus.. Wouldn't want to be him I experienced this transit starting at 15 and a lot of fateful things happened, met a very significant person once saturn was 2* away from my 12th house moon and 2* away from the exact opposition of natal saturn. Friends back-stabbed me, rumors were spread around in school that i was a PORN STAR while i was a virgin. Lost my virginity to my soon to be husband, started rebelling against my very strict and religious parents. Slashed my wrists because my soon to be husband was threatening to do so. Too bad i didn't know he was just trying to manipulate me and since i didn't realize what the proper way to "cut" was, i slashed mine very deep, especially one, that was sickeningly deep. Since i hid it from my parents and never got stitches i now have a huge "spread apart" scar Got married at 17, mostly to get away from my parents. All around impulsive, bad choices. And now when my saturn return comes around in 6 years, but perhaps even sooner because my saturn is retrograde, im sure all of that junk will be resurfaced. Especially the choice to get married i imagine. I have my moon in the 12th opposing my saturn to the degree. LOL i better start praying now. Good luck to everyone

Saturn through my 12th in the past year has really turned my world upside down. I broke up with my long term bf of 4 years, got a job but had to work hard for it. My priorities completely shifted and now I'm with someone older than myself, for the first time.Depression might be one of the themes you guys will face. Also, I was reflecting on my past and myself a lot more. Trying to understand why I do the things I do, react the way I react to things. It's kind of like going through my closet and finding things I forgot had been there. About the secret thing..ya, kind of. Or atleast you will become more aware of the things that happen behind your subconscious. I don't have much saturn action in my chart, so everything hit me like a ton of bricks. I'd imagine those with some saturn connection in their chart would be familiar with the energy?

I really feel so different. It was this transit, as a kid, along with PLuto there, that changed me from confident to socially-phobic. It's amazing in a really awful way. I was just hit with things - some were related to regrets, but others I was just hit with out of nowhere. I really hope to feel something good about all of this, at some point. I don't mean to scare anyone, I just needed to vent. I feel like I'm getting a cold, too - that my dad just had that started in his chest. lovely. IP: Logged |
