Modern astrologers only use neptune as ruler of pisces. Whilst Traditional astrologers will use Jupiter. It's not a good idea, espec for beginning to mix and match like this..

The main differences with Modern and Trads, is that they don't use the outers, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto....

Pisces Asc (along with gemini) is probably one of the most difficult in childhood. With pisces they are sooo impressionable, easily manipulated and make lots of sacrifices trying to please family to much

Yes, chart ruler and where it's placed should be a major focus for you. doesn't matter if it only has one aspect or multi aspected. Unless of course you have a stellium of planets in another house and this may well trump over chart ruler.

So, my Jupiter in House 2 in Aries is powerful. Jupiter expands and inflates the quality of the sign it is in and the house it rules, as well as the one in which it is posited. The 2nd House is the focus of wealth and possessions. A singleton Jupiter in 2nd House makes me an overly-materialistic, insanely ambitious, money-faced ego-maniac!
