i have always kind of questioned the traditional astrology way of labeling masculine and feminine signs, where all fire and air signs are masculine and earth and water are feminine. it makes sense for the most part, but to me there are a few signs that dont fit, example: i dont get how libra is the masculine expression of venus while taurus is the feminine,to me libra is more feminine then taurus, and i have always thought capricorn was more of a masculine sign. does anybody else agree? what are your thoughts?

In my experience Taurus is more feminine and Capricorn ya it seems masculine I was shocked when I heard it was feminine. When guys have this sun, they actually look gay from their body language.

It's subtle, precisely in these signs you are talking about. Libra is more androgynous, the women always have a masculine side and the men a feminine one. As for Capricorn, you have to really know them and see them to understand why it is a feminine sign, although I do agree that they do come across as masculine.
Just realized that this might mean Saturn is a woman O_O No way

interesting, most libra guys i know have a softer or boyish look to them and are more stylish, the taurus guys i know have a more rugged masculine look about them, and what sign has body language that makes them appear gay?

Feminine and Masculine Signs are expressed differently in men and women. Taurus and Libra are both represented by Venus, they both have feminine qualities but expressed differently. I see Taurus sun signs as the earthy girl next door, whereas Libra has this beauty queen charm.

Libra Sun here. I'm definitely a manly chick. But that's just the outside of my shell. You gotta get to the inside, then I'm more lady-like.

actually it's the other away around.
taurus is masculine and libra feminine.

my thoughts, well there is much more to astrology than masculine and feminine energies and don't get hung up on them..

great topic i was wondering about the taurus libra myself.

the libra women i know kind of have a masculine look. they act a bit butch too even if dey straight.

taurus women can be straight up girly girl and hopeless romantics.

i have no idea if libra in men is feminine but alot seem to think so. i don't see it.

taurus is just cased in manly package but iz pretty feminine inside.

didn't know caps were feminine sign i thot that was a typo before lol..

Had to add this lol

e·mas·cu·late/iˈmaskyəˌlāt/
Verb:
Make (a person, idea, or piece of legislation) weaker or less effective.
Deprive (a man) of his male role or identity: "he feels emasculated because he cannot control his sons' behavior".

Now I am confused If the proceeding sign Aries is suppose to be masculine then how is Taurus masculine? Or is it masculine in comparison to Libra?

I'm not sure about the other elements but I always thought Mutable signs to be feminine.

Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, Sag.
All girls I know with mutable placements are finely build, girly, soft & womanlike. At least more feminine than their Cardinal counterpart. (Aries vs Sag, Cap vs Virgo etc)

Yo. That's the polite version!

In street talk, its the act of physically removing one's testicles, in addition to you know what else. emasculate --> aka de-masculine.

Only perverse women with S&M tendencies come up with that nonsense

On the other hand, I was told that I hate men
