I'm a girl w/ Mars trine Ascendant exact. Physcially I have wide shoulders, a flat-chest, athletic, and a lot of scars on my face. I'm not into sports but I love to go to the gym. Having Sun conjunct Mars & Sun parallel Mars as well gives me a lot energy.

If two planets are tightly conjunct in natal they will always BE parallel and these parallels say little.It's the *other* parallels that are important, where there is no natal contact..

My Mars conjuncts my DSC from the 6th.

Usually what happens is that I attract people who play out the Mars for me, as I am naturally a laid-back person (I can be nervous but seldom aggressive).

I do have sharp features though.
Broad shoulders, and not a feminine appearance overall.

I wish I had it somewhere else in my chart because it seems that people get very defensive towards me even if I don't mean to harm them in any way.

But I suppose having Mars opposite ASC is a bit different from having it conjunct or square or even trine the ASC, because as in my case, it gets projected onto other people.

But I must say, I can be pretty domineering and forceful when it comes to relationships, and I think that's mainly where my Mars plays out (7th house matters).

Otherwise with people I am not that close to, I am anything but Mars-like.

Moonfish, I have Mars in the 1st. It doesn't aspect my ascendant however it's in Aries which just gives it double strength and emphasis. I have a packed 1st house and I'm an Aquarius Rising. My ascendant is in harmonious aspect with the rest of my chart, besides being opposite my Venus in Leo, which surprisingly isn't a bad thing.

I've got an lean yet athletic build. Good shoulders and very toned long athletic legs. However I'm a Libra Sun with Venus dominant in my chart which adds curves to my lean frame (hips, chest, etc). I don't have scars however I have a warm/red glow to my skin. I get red very easily and I also have a high (Aries/Mars) forehead and an oval face. I guess if you have balancing factors in your chart, those dominant Mars features aren't so evident. Which is basically my situation. Listen some people would kill to have an athletic body. Having Mars-ascendant aspects or dominant Mars is a good thing. I love how athletic my body is with Mars/Aries in the 1st.

My mars plays out in my connections with people... I usually attract people that just "go off" on me, when I didn't do anything.

Other than that I think the most "masculine" thing about me is that I like to fix things/stuff.
