Did anyone experience some strange encounters during this transit? Because I had one yesterday and it rattled me  Also from astro.com quote:

This part here has me completely scared. Is this transit as bad as people say it is?Mars( my 7th house ruler) is in 5th house in Aquarius but other than this Uranus in Aries doesn't make significant aspects to my chart. Well it does conjunct my Sun/Mars midpoint, but I figured it wouldn't affect me that much. And on astro.com it says it will start in April and last until March 2013. I don't know because I've never had that transit, but if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much, I'm sure many people have had this transit and it doesn't have to be all bad!Probably means relationships won't be very stable during this time, you may attract unreliable, eccentric people, or just want to be free from commitment, etc. IP: Logged |

It wreaked havoc on my relationships. I used to be able to handle one-to-one interactions quite well even though I wasn't crazy about them, but since Uranus crossed my DSC, I can't handle emotional intimacy in one-to-one relationships at all. Only with strongly Uranian folks, because they tend to give a LOT of space in terms of time and emotion. I was supposed to get married and I couldn't go through with it because the relationship wasn't how *I * wanted it. Uranus makes you willful and selfish in the area of life (House) it occupies, and if you don't embrace that energy yourself, you'll be hurt by attracting those who will play it out for you. I attracted (and cut off contact, in typical Uranian fashion) one guy who stubbornly insisted on having everything on HIS terms. (Either his or his friends', since Uranus/Aquarius rules lukewarm relationships like friendship.) At least it's outta my 6th! The past decade was full of instability on the job for me, I kept finding reasons to up and quit nice (albeit restrictive and uninspiring) jobs. quote:

It's an upcoming transit for me too, but I don't view it as bad. I see Uranus as a magician who has wonderful and unexpected tricks and this might be a (long) time where we must adapt to change. At least it won't be boring, right?IP: Logged |

Honestly.. it's insane but it's also a LOT of fun. Fun that I wouldn't be participating in otherwise - it's made me quite fearless in my relationships, and exposed me to so many different men I would have otherwise never given a second glance at. I feel these next few years are really going to be the bread and butter of the stories I'll tell me grandchildren someday. Have I attracted mostly unavailable men? Yes, it's true I haven't been in a relationship since it touched my Descendant exactly back in May of 2010. But have I had an insane amount of fun? Definitely. Just keep an open mind, be true to yourself, and roll with the Uranian energy. I was so fearfully and very Earthy when it came to relationships before that it was nice to have a rollercoaster in my life. I enjoy the transit a lot, but that's just me. IP: Logged |

very true,also in order to make Uranus synastry connection indeed sizzling & electrifying,one needs extra help from other planets,like Mars/Venus aspect in addition to Uranus' action. So,you would say you like tUranus ? IP: Logged |

Thank you for the replies. I really appreciate them.
I guess I have no other choice than to roll with it, but after t Neptune cj my Moon, it kind of feels like a rude wake-up call. I'm also worried about my relationship a bit because some don't seem to make it past this transit, but we'll see how it goes.
I don't know about fun though. I'm a Taurus (obviously  ) with a mostly fixed chart and no fire. I don't have the best reaction when it comes to new people.IP: Logged |
