When a person is ready to meet their twin flame I think they must have united the heart and mind within themselves OR just about to be ready spiritually to take that step. To be ready for that one probably would need to be an old soul and would have completed many lifetimes, learned many lessons. I think one of the biggest signs of being an old soul in our current evolution is that the person is deeply attracted to studying hidden truth. They have a thirst within themselves to reach a higher level than what is simply 'there'.

Now when I say the heart and mind unite, I mean the love and the light have come together after much search for one another in spirit just like the twin flame which is essentially the same thing. You see the reason they call it a twin flame is because they apart of the threefold flame which represents the mind, the heart and the third component the christ consciousness. The mind the light is the father. The heart the love is the mother. When the two unite they create a third component. THIS is the christ consciousness.

So you see, when a person is ready to meet their twin flame, they are also ready to complete their ascension, their spiritual completion to graduate to higher levels of existence.

The uniting of the heart and mind; the intellect and the love within yourself creates a very strong, Very strong 'baby' if you will. It is what you have longed for. Nothing is hidden anymore and you have awakened to your true god nature and what your mission is. This level of harmony within yourself in my experience happened after I met my twin flame. The changes I went through were significant.

The spiritual reality reflects itself in the physical reality by using me and my twin flames physical selves in this 3rd dimension. We are separated, but united by one spiritual cord manifested as two beings who are the same soul.

He is the mind the light and I am the mother the love and together we create the christ consciousness which I currently have access to more than him.

So essentially the inner work between the heart and mind will unite when meeting a twin flame. There will be no more doubts about life and it's truth. There will be nothing but happiness from this connection that brings your existence to that of the divine. Truly, the union is divine. The physical manifestation of something so divine takes my breath away for that is what the twin flame is in our current dimension. Because love is the only thing strong enough to save this planet, so it is that twin flames are uniting now.

I thought my twin flame was someone i <i>used</i> to be in love with. We were together for 10 years and married for 5. To be honest, it never really felt like a marriage. For a brief moment, I convinced myself we were going to get back together, but I have come to the realization that we will probably never get back together.

...but the weird thing is...I still feel that "connection" to him. I don't think it will ever go away.

This rules out alot of people.

We are all such all individuals, all with our particular paths, all with our particular positives and negatives.

I find it not spiritually feasible that "soul" has a twin...I do believe, however, that we as souls are all connected, eventually merging once again with creator and that there is no separation of soul, till we descend into human form.

In my mind I picture the soul network as such, a network a fabric of energy that was never made and will never be destroyed. A fabric that is allowable to, in part, descend into human form, remaining ever connected to the mass...

Just my thoughts and feelings.

not necessarily
if we go by this theory
the pair may be old souls and be in their 20s or 30s...
and what about those folks who see each other for their first time in their teens
and everything becomes fated...a la twin flame

besides, it would be lovely to create a family with your twin flame
after 40s, too old, i say...

I agree, maybe even a less % of people meet there twin IF it is true...
Im not sure I believe a twin flame is real.. However I do believe we have MANY soul mates, that are predestined to come into our live's at specific times and help us along our path..
Some stay for long periods some or very short....

Let me give an example of a "short soulmate"

Everday before work, I would stop at the same gas station for coffee...
Everyday the same guy would ask me for money, saying he ran out of gas..
After a while of him telling me the same "story" over and over again..
I told him, what do you run out of gas EVERYDAY???? You realize you tell me this same old BS story every day and its getting old right????
HE said he was sorry and he wouldnt bother me again...
The next day, I stopped at the same store, he approached me..
He said hey Im really really sorry, m just down on my luck and I'm ashamed so I tell people I ran out of gas...
We ended up talking for a while, and he told me his story...
Then we became friends (so to speak)
When I would stop at the store he wouldnt ask me for money any more, he would just say HEY "Lioness" how are you??? etc etc...
So then I started giving him a little bit of change I had in my pocket everytime I went to the store...
One day I told him about some job openings near by that I have heard about..

He said GREAT!!!!...

It continued on for a while... He no longer comes to that store... IDK what happen to him....
But what ever was meant to play out between me and him did...
Now this is not a romantic soul mate... Just someone I met...

Situations like this I feel are predestined for what ever reason.
Maybe I owed him something.. Ill never know..

I heard of the twin souls following us into physical form
This person told me once that I was followed. I was like huh? I was young and wondered where the comment came from.
