Checked my chart. My pluto/saturn midpoint is @ Libra 6'29 in the first house which sextile my Sun in Leo @ 6'8 and conjunct my ascendant @ Libra 3'57 (2 degrees)

The text makes it seems as if being alone is lonely, negative.... but in fact, I do enjoy doing things on my own most of the time.

Oooooo... speaking of stiff and formal reminds me of my Personality Test where I was labled a INTJ - introversion, intuition, thinking, judgment.

tPluto is right on my natal Saturn-Pluto midpoint right now, never noticed that before.

Hmm not sure if it's relevant at all.

Natally it's not a crucial point, it makes a sextile to Mercury and squares Juno.

I have Venus in Cappy square Pluto. Did I miss my calling?

Anyway, Saturn/Pluto-mp is on 28 Leo, opposite BML on 28 Aquarius.

the most important of midpoints is Sun/moon and Asc/MC of course. You could spend hours, days or months researching all these midpoints, but unless they are real for you and YOU can see how this functions, like you say probably won't be felt...

Yes I agree, I don't really pay attention to midpoints. They probably work for some people though!

This inspired me to look at my midpoints and I have Sun conjunct my Venus/Neptune midpoint so that means I am ethereally gorgeous, right.

I also have Mars conjunct my Sun/Moon midpoint. So I like Martians.

I have my sun conjunct my Saturn /Uranus midpoint and my Vertex is conjunct my sun/moon midpoint and my merc/mars mp, My moon is conjunct my jupiter/Saturn midpoint...I quite like that one because the moon is quintile jup and sat.

I've got Nep con the jup/plu midpoint and my ascendant is on the sun/jup mp.

Some astrologers use midpoints extensively, I do notice that "important" people in my life will usually have planets or angles con/sq/opp some of my main ones. The sun/moon especially but it's hard for me to know if its the midpoint or the vertex that does that.

My Saturn/Pluto midpoint is conjunct my Sun/Mercury point so maybe these are all tightly interwoven for me? Natally, there are minor aspects between all of them (sat an plu are square though) and I can see how it maybe strengthens the theme.

Saturn is Quintile Pluto in my chart. Their midpoint is conjunct my Sun by 0'0. All of the descriptions of Saturn conjunct Pluto define me: ruthless, controlled, disciplined, lack of father figure growing up, tyrant with oneself. Any questions I could help out with?

It turns out, my Saturn-Pluto midpoint is conjunct my Midheaven. Basil Fearrington's description is perfect. But hard work always yields results.

quote:
Saturn/Pluto

In the Jup/Plu midpoint, we saw its great potential for success as a reflection of Pluto taking the Jupiter archetype to its extreme. In the Saturn/Pluto midpoint, we see Pluto taking Saturn to its extreme – quite a different story. Where Jupiter is very expansive and opportunistic, Saturn represents a control factor that often manifests in delays, frustrations, limitations, etc. Pluto’s contact to it takes these potentials to an extreme so we have a very powerfully debilitating midpoint picture in Saturn/Pluto, especially when it involves the inner planets or Angles.

In transit and arc work, the Pluto-Saturn relationship usually corresponds to times of very hard work for little gain. Loss of some kind is a frequent experience during these times. The overall nature of this combination is very difficult.

But there is a flip side. There is always a reward for hard work, tremendous focus and discipline. Michael Jordan has Sun=Sat/Plu in his horoscope. No professional athlete has worked harder at his or her craft than has Jordan and the results have been obvious. He is a super champion and winner, respected by all of his peers and sports enthusiasts. And this is due to a tremendous work ethic that was simply untiring.

Martha Stewart has AP=Sat/Plu, normally a position that brings difficulties and troubles to a front-and-center position in one’s life. While Stewart certainly had a difficult time with her indictment and conviction that resulted in prison time, her life, for the most part, has been well rewarded as a result of tremendously hard work, focus, and discipline.

While it is often the case that there is gain from hard work relating to this midpoint, it is much more typical that the dark side of Saturn manifests itself in extreme forms. When the Moon or Venus are here natally, it is a sign of deep emotional and relational concerns that are challenging. The Sun at this midpoint illuminates difficulties in a front and center manner in one’s life. Mercury at this midpoint relates to deep depression or, on the flip side, to genius. Mars at this midpoint is typically quite frustrating because the need to apply energy a certain way is thwarted at every turn. This may be most telling in the area of life experiences denoted by Aries cusp position in the horoscope.

Nelson Mandela’s horoscope has Sun=Sat/Plu!

P.S. According to http://www.cornerstone-astrology.com/articles/midpoints_astrology.htm this midpoint meaning is as follows:

quote:
Point of Self-Refocalization
Saturn/Pluto Mid-point

The point of the most operative concrete refocus of energies and consciousness in a person's life.
Inverse Midpoint - the awareness of the process of refocalization in ones consciousness.

It resonates.

My mars is on my saturn/pluto. In virgo, in 10th house. I am working towards a career in nutrition, and while I am still in school, I find myself already constructing my career path. I think this is fitting because I have always been committed to working hard for what I believe in. I can't seem to just work for the sake of working, but given a purpose I feel tireless. It is transformative for me for sure.
