Does anyone know anything about the moon and women's menstrual cycles? Lately I've been really studying my own and I have discovered I always start my period when the moon is in late libra. My first house is 12 libra. And apparently I'm most fertile when the moon is in Aries opposite my ASC. Weird.Fascinating stuff.

I read the fertility is at its potent at Moon return and while transiting H5.IP: Logged |

Venus, I keep reading different things. Aren't you suppose to be most fertile mid cycle? In my mid cycle the moon is always in Aries. Aries is my 7th house. I also just read you are most fertile when the sun and moon are the same distance apart as they are in the birth chart. In which case that would mean I'm most fertile under a full moon because I was born under one. And there was a full moon a few days ago so that means I was fertile a few days before my period?
That one doesn't sound right. I want to decipher this stuff. The egyptians were able to tell the sex of the baby when it was concieved. IP: Logged |

I am not quite sure that astrologers measure our cycles, which is huge, empirical, mistake We can know how and when our body works best, but they want to determine wide markers for fertility. When it comes to me,I did notice H5 transit via increased libido- body telling it is ready.I will check out when Moon in Aries, since we share both Moon and Asc position. IP: Logged |

Oh okay so apparently sex is determined by the sign the moon is in during conception.IP: Logged |

Yeah, seems so. But you have to be good to know when you actually concieved, thats kinda hard. That means the egyptians were intimately involved with the dynamics of sex. IP: Logged |

http://www.esotericastrologer.org/EAauthorEssays/EAessaysIN2.htm Some years ago, Dr. Eugen Jonas, a Czechoslovakian psychiatrist with a penchant for ancient writings, came across a curious sentence in an Assyrian or Babylonian manuscript stating that, "A woman is fertile according to the Moon." After much brooding and reflection, he began researching lunar cycles and ultimately found that 70-85% of pregnancies occur when the lunar phase is the same as it was at the moment of the woman's birth. According to Jonas, 15-30% of pregnancies occur during the ovulation phase, thereby making the rhythm method unreliable for those who use it to avoid pregnancy.
Well I guess my ovulation cycle is when moon is in aries and fertility cycle is when there is a full moon. hmm when's the next full moon?

Interesting, I have also been conducting a similar experiment.I seem to find that my cycle starts usually during a mutable moon, and in a water house, e.g. Sag moon transiting the 8th house One time the pattern was broken when I had my cycle start at a Taurus moon. IP: Logged |
