A man I know just had Pluto conjunct his Moon, exact. His girlfriend of 2 yrs, broke up with him exactly at this time..right after Valentine's Day. We all saw it coming by her Plutonian behavior towards him (cold and manipulative), so we were not surprised. According to author Christina Baldwin: "In the example of a Pluto Transit (or Solar Arc) to the Natal Moon, we begin with a broad, relatively universal interpretation that incorporates the involved planetary energies. We know that Pluto suggests a necessary inevitable change that will likely encompass empowerment, a new perspective, and a transformation of sorts. Typically, the "Phoenix Principle" is involved, where something must fall away, be sacrificed, or surrendered in order for growth and evolution to continue. This may include beliefs, behaviors, belongings, or relationships." Apparently he put up with her continued charade for a few years, towards the end feeling like a fool and that he put up with more than he should have and deserved better treatment and returned affection. Now he feels lost, alone, and that there is something wrong with him. Obviously this breakup was inevitable...a cosmically tuned reason to remove a negative person from his life - and to make him take care of his well being and self esteem. How can I help him get thru this transit? IP: Logged |

If you want a reading you should post his chart, with progressions and transits in PR forum quote:
Pluto transits to the Moon directly affect the feelings, the public image, and personal popularity. Other people and things affected by Pluto are the mother, important women in the native's life, domestic life, and the home. Our early experiences often cause us to build a life "script" that incorporate our expectations from the world, and this process is ruled by the Moon. Pluto challenges this "script". In some cases, men live this transit through key female figures in their lives. Sometimes, the relationship with the mother or other important female figures come into focus. What does the Moon rule in your chart? Look to the house(s) of your natal chart with Cancer on the cusp for areas of your life where Pluto is stimulating. Look to planets in Cancer in your chart to see other parts of your personality that Pluto is now infusing with intensity. http://www.cafeastrology.com/plutotransits.html
