It only has two or three aspects if that. It's in the 5th house, ruled by Libra, and falls in Scorpio. What affect would this have on my personality, if any? DOES it affect my personality or does it only affect my love affairs and art projects, etc.IP: Logged |

I know someone almost like that but the Libra is intercepted and so ruled by Virgo. His romantic emotional nature is very powerful. IP: Logged |

I'm not convinced pluto has exaltation. How can scorpio/pluto be exalted in 5th?? Scorpio/pluto rules 8th house IP: Logged |

Well some astrologers think transpersonal planets don't have exaltation/fall signs. But I'm not really sure why that is.I looked this up anyway since my Pluto (+ SN) is also in Scorpio and in the 5th. The general consensus is that Pluto is exalted either in Leo or Aries.. but more articles mention Leo. It does seem a bit strange though... considering the nature of Leo is so overt and exuberant.. while Pluto is about all things 'hidden'. It's also strange since the Sun is dignified in Leo and exalted in Aries... so it would seem odd that Pluto would be well placed in the same signs where the Sun is well placed... since Pluto & the Sun have such different influences. I'm not sure about it either way lol I'd have to read more about it. IP: Logged |

So...Does Pluto in the 5th house affect my day-to-day personality at all, or is it only "activated" when I'm doing 5th housey things? IP: Logged |

Of course it does, when you are with children or being creative, or romantic. Basic astrology forum discussing Pluto in houses http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum12/private-jjLYZw161/HTML/000663.html To enter this forum you need an extra password – astrology…. Just remember we are all multifaceted human beings and simply don't express just one aspect at a time..... Think of houses like a piece of cake or a room you walk in. the 5th is the play room if you like. But also look to where scorpio rules and if libra rules your 5th then scorpio rules your 6th. So this suggests to me that co-workers could also be invovled in your social life and 'play room'?? "Ruler of the Sixth House in the Fifth House Your work could involve children. You tend to have a lot of worry and concern about your own children. You want only the best for them. You would rather have the work you do be very creative or at least it should be something you get a lot of personal pleasure from. Additionally, the work you do could have some kind of risk attached to it. If you have pets, you probably treat them like they were your children." http://www.skyviewzone.com/astrology/houserulerships.htm#hr6

Wow, have I changed my thoughts on things since I posted this! If you werr to translate Plutonian energy into everyday life I'd compare it to a magnet. So Pluto in the 5th either loves or hates 5th house things and is either all the way or not at all. When it chooses to participate it will unearth your core notions you previously held about ...whatever. Akin to pulling up the root of something when gardening and planting something different to nurture.

My mother has this. Pluto conjunct Mercury, 5H.She's very intense, emotional, jealous and passionate in romantic affairs; deeply involved with her children (who are both Mercurial Scorpios!) (as in, sometimes she oversteps our boundaries, is overly protective, needy, etc). She has an intense reaction to art, music especially, and is a passionate performer (sometimes she sings and plays the guitar). IP: Logged |
