As per SaggiMC, I have Sun in Capricorn in 10th/11th cusp Square Jupiter in Aries in 2nd House. This is an aspect for overdoing everything, including spending, overworking and setting overly ambitious goals.

More importantly, my wife's North Node in Aries in 10th House perfectly Conjuncts my Jupiter in Aries in 2nd House. In Synastry.

Is this analysis correct? Comments?

Thanks

ok, lets start with your Cap/Sun
if it is on the 10/11th house cusp
(but in the 10th house)
then it is firmly in the 10th
In astrology, when doing charts the planets move to the right and house cusps move to the left. I know it's confusing.

Your wife's NN/10th conjunct your 2nd/Jupiter would show how she will "assist" you in achieving personal wealth/well being by achieving her own goals (NN/10th).

sun square jupiter can show an extravegant, philsophical, humerous nature and will modify how your sun expresses..

Jupiter conj Node in synastry is also very good.It shows a karmic link. also saturn in synastry are the first two things I focus on. saturn can give longevity and acts like cement for good OR bad though...

problem is his sun is EXACTLY conj 11th house cusp and anything within 5' some use wider some use smaller, the planet is said to be more effective and interpreted as if in next house along going anti clockwise...

Planets conjunct a house cusp http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showpost.php?p=202304&postcount=7 http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?p=205033#post205033
Planets conj House cusp
“Ascendant at 15’ Libra and Jupiter 13’ Libra. That would place Jupiter in the 12th house, right? But many thoughtful astrologers would read this as Jupiter being conjunction with Ascendant, and end up reading it as bringing its action to bear in the first house, rather than in the 12th.
This same idea would apply for each and every house cusp. If the planet is IN THE SAME SIGN as the sign on the next house cusp, and close enough to be CONJUNCT WITH that next house cusp, the action of the planet will be directed into oncoming house” http://www.astrology-numerology.com/inhouses.html http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14887 http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showpost.php?p=125412&postcount=4
Ptolemy says the influence of the house begins to be felt 5° before the actual cusp. http://www.astrologycom.com/houses.html

“Astrologers have seen a body influencing the house it is about to enter, time and time again. All theorizing aside, the planet casting its shadow ahead works. I can speak from personal experience, as well as reading ancient texts. If you discover this as true, then the next question may be, "Just how close must a body be to a cusp before it begins to be felt in the neighboring house?"
I've seen some authors say 3 degrees. I've seen some that give 5 degrees. I have seen some that even give 8 degrees. And there may be other variations.” http://astronuts.tribe.net/thread/90c9f417-5086-4ff0-b31f-c904fe99baca

Oh thank you!

We have several Saturn aspects. Some are good and some are bad.

The worst is my Saturn Squares her Neptune by 3 degrees 46 minutes and her Saturn Squares my Mercury by 4 degrees 59 minutes.

We also have my Saturn Trine her Moon by 0 degrees 30 minutes and Saturn-Pluto, Saturn-Uranus DW, Saturn-Chiron DW, Saturn-AC DW and Saturn-MC DW.

That's a lot of Saturn everywhere!!

It's also strange that my Saturn transit were the best 2 years of my life, and we got married when Saturn was crossing my 12th House in Aquarius where my Saturn lies. Saturn is supposed to be bad, but has been very good and positive in my life. It's even more strange that mine is in the 12th House and hers is in the 10th House.

Why is that?

At some point you need to 'think' planetary energies....
North Node is all about your Life Lessons, in whatever form, sextiles are soft easy aspects, POF in 5th is what brings you pleasure, fortune and happiness. So build a sentence using keywords, try to bring in signs these are in and then you could go eveen further and look to the house cusp rulers...

just looking at saturn transits at the time you were married is not enough. Look to planets in 7th, ruler of 7th being aspected. What about vertex, juno etc.

Fundamentally, yes, but that's my wife's sign. Plus, the Sun Square Jupiter is my natal aspect that suggests overdoing everything. That, plus Jupiter in 2nd House shows over-spending, but somehow replacement of funds with new money.
