I have this with someone new, he is mars and I am saturn,opposition at 1'30 deg. Some of the things I have read spook me, is it really that bad?

Beyonce and Jay-Z have Mars square Saturn 1 deg, they've been together for over 12 years and don't seem to have much trouble w/ there relationship. Unless there good at hiding it from the public, but overall I don't think it's a deal breaker :]

When someone's Saturn is on my Mars, I feel like they're judging me. It's not very pleasant unless you want an extra parent.

My husband's Saturn opposes my Mars but with a 9 degree orb. He doesn't "approve" of everything about me...like my interest in astrology. So in that sense, yeah, he's like a parent. Plus he's much older.

But we've been together 13 years and other things about our synastry do compensate, & take the load off.
