... are not familiar with:cafeastrology.com astro.com bobmarksastrologer.com astrology-numerology.com I have been going to these websites for years and I know them off by heart. I was curious how many of you are not so familiar with them?
Please let me know in relation to each website whether you have already read basically everything on there --- OR --- whether you actually feel like you have new things to learn, from these sites. Also - Do you find it helpful to have the entire content of these websites copied and pasted on LL --- OR --- would it be easier for you to click on the websites and find the content yourself? This is just a poll. Thank you! IP: Logged |

Hmmm I have pretty much read most of what's on those sites and I come on here to read about genuine people's experience and opinions. So personally I don't care for those links in particular. However if someone puts up a link to a lesser known site it can be interesting. Just me personally.IP: Logged |

I can't speak for others, but through googling I've found some of those sites myself. It may be useful to list the sites. Most people here know the basic alreadyIP: Logged |

You are obviously referring to articles posted in Basic Forum, the majority being mine... there is a LOT of original material MINE actually, with blood, sweat and tears Newbies are inheritantly touch lazy and tend to want answers now... what's wrong with having a forum for direct references?? My forte it teaching astrology, rather than dropping answers in people's laps, I want to 'dangle a carrot' entice people in, get them hooked on this wonderful craft, art and science called astrology... You're not directing newbies. You are posting the same information ad nauseum to people who are not newbies. If you stuck to posting this in the basic astrology forum - I would completely understand. But why Astrology 2.0? It is just clutter. IP: Logged |

Also - This thread is not about you, Saggi. I am trying to figure out whether a majority of people actually find this helpful. I do not find it helpful. BUT I may well be in the minority. So I want to SEE on this thread - whether others DO find it helpful. If most people - don't - then that would be a good reason for you to stop. If most people - DO.. then - fine! Carry on. I am simply curious if it is really just me. IP: Logged |

Some people do. Some don't but if Randall does not like Saggi's contribution, it is up to him to tell her not us.

As far as I understand - Saggi - you are here because you want to teach astrology to the newbies in particular. If a particular style of teaching works for a majority of people - then that's great. But if it does not work ... then it is a good idea to change the style. So I am trying to figure out on this thread - whether this is actually helpful for people or not. Now that it is sidetracked, I doubt they will reply. Maybe I will just create a Tautomer-like survey. :edit: Also - as I just mentioned Astrology 2.0 is not really for newbie topics.. and for copying and pasting the content on cafeastrology. The basic astrology forum is for newbie topics. IP: Logged |

Betty it is not up to YOU to determine if Saggi does right. It is up to Randall to manage the people who "teach" on HIS Board.

Ami - Do you feel like it is up to you to manage/moderate the astrology 2.0 forum? Or do you feel like that is also up to Randall (and Lalalinda)? IP: Logged |

BB has good point,Saggi enters every discussion with assumption the OP knows little. There is nothing wrong in discussing an aspects that has been singled out.IP: Logged |

It is not up to me Betty but it is YOUR business less so to monitor Saggi. I am a Mod so can moderate when I feel such is needed as I do now.

I am simply curious whether this style works for a majority of people or not..and I want to create a survey to find out. Lala can close this thread though, if she likes.. because clearly it is going nowhere now. So I am out. But if I have time I'll create a simple survey like the one Tautomer made. That might be a better way to do this anyhow IP: Logged |

While I can see that Saggi's teaching style is an acquired taste, it does fit well in Basic Astrology. Astrology 2.0 is filled with people at varying stages of expertise in Astrology, with few true raw beginners, so I don't want to see repeats of Basic Astrology topics here. IP: Logged |

Betty I don't think it is kind to seek out one person and have people vote on them. In cases where one person does not want interaction with another people have requested that a person does not post on HIS thread.Perhaps, that may help you. If you do not want Saggi to post on your threads, that may be a solution but for people to vote on Saggi is a kind or gracious solution. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire.
