Now basically your sun sign is your 'core beliefs, values, ego' and Asc is your physical body, mode of expression and mask and persona that we all wear and hide behind, but definitely not what's going on underneath. What's going on underneath is your Sun sign. Moon sign, house placements and aspects describe your emotional and intuitive responses, also describes your view of your mother, as saturn describes your father by sign and house position.
So, think of a glass milk bottle the bottle is your Asc and your sun the milk, but the milk still has to 'come out' through the glass neck of the milk bottle.... Now aspects within a natal chart represent 'facets' of our personality, because we are all multifaceted beings. What these do is 'break down and compartmentalise' these facets into smaller bite size chunks. This does take quite a lot of self analysis and objectivity to 'see yourself' and why you do certain things and behave in certain ways. Actually it can be quite good therapy... Remember back to your school days an opposition is 180', square 90', trine 120', and sextile 60' Now challenged aspects are conj (depending on the planets, cos some like each other and some really don't) squares and oppositions. Easy aspects are conj (if the planets get along) eg: Jupiter conj Moon, sextile and trine. Quincunx is inbetween (depending on the planets) causes health strains and unresolved or hard to balance planets/energies. Hello kindredcayce!! Lol why do you and betty both think virgo? None of my planets are in virgo or taurus, funny that! My mom is virgo though, can i look like virgo cuz she is??------------------

Nope lol much more fun then those!! I have both my uranus and neptune in capricorn but im pretty sure its just cuz those planets move slow or something. Only other earths i have are 8th house taurus and 11th house virgo. Wonder why i look so earthy? Oh and sixth house is aries for meIP: Logged |

Well Gem-Gurl, it could just be that particular pic that looks earthy. Once you decide to reveal your placements, you should also post your chart. Maybe then, I'll see what was making me see virgo, or I'll see that I was just plain wrong, lol.IP: Logged |

Lol, it's ok... I do stuff like that too (gemini mars here, haha). But at least we know your placements now. Are you certain of your birthtime? According to the chart you posted above, you're Libra rising, ruled by venus, and your venus is in the 6th house. Maybe that's the virgo vibe I got? IP: Logged |

actually im not sure of my EXACT birthtime. I was born on May 25 1993, at about 5 or 6 pm in Los Angeles, CA. I am either libra rising or scorpio. I match libra more then scorpio it seems to me. LMAO @ the sig Gem Gurl! Gemini and Virgo might seem a bit similar since they are both ruled by Mercury. Both seem alert. They have very attentive eyes.
But it's a pretty superficial similarity. Once you get to know them - they are quite different. It's interesting you asked about your mum though... because my mum is a Leo -my dad is an Aquarius - and I've also been guessed to be those signs. My Sun is in the 11th though - so maybe that's partially why I get Aqua! IP: Logged |
