Well, with the vertex I think the vertex person feels the planet person and maybe not the other way around. You know, I think it is true!!! I brought someone Neptune/God and she as heck did not bring me Neptune So, she brought her deepest heart and deepest emotions to you. Does that fit? ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Ceridwen, quote: conjunction, opposition, square - yes. Not really sure about sextile and trine; I take mental note of them, but they are nowwhere as strong as the other aspects.
I think I may be confusing myself here but I remember Lotis White who said she'd studied the vertex extensively, said positively "YES" to trines and sextiles. Is it then just a matter of the degree of strength of the trine/sextile compared to the aspects you consider or is this another difference between how astrologers view this topic? Also, (slightly off the topic of this thread) would you consider the composite vertex conjunct the composite Desc. (orb of 5) as having any effect? Is it out of orb (since you consider a max. of 4) and therefore would have no effect? My apologies Ami Anne, for asking this ques. on this thread, but I've been trying to find the answer to this last question for a while now, and have been unsuccessful. All I can find is that it gives a fated feeling. IP: Logged |

I'm not really sure, but for me when I've experienced the opposition it had the potential of going both ways. And it did.For example with my boyfriend I have My Vertex opp his Sun (exactly 1 degree) and his Vertex opp my Moon but it's kinda wide for it to be counted (4 degrees). Still I think it helped a little. And that description for a Sun/Vertex really fits me. Now for another, my Vertex opp his Venus (0*46 degrees). Did he bring me love? Yes he did, but I didn't want it. So nothing came out of it. Another one, I had my Vertex opp his Pluto (0*20'). I was completely drawn to him. The dude, though? Cool as a cucumber. So I think the opp is a little fickle. lol

Fascinating about what the vertex person feels and the what the other does or does not!!
Yes, this is my experience. It is one way! Man, this is a fascinating point! Thank you for your input Psy

It's brutally cold. And if the Vertex person is the naive innocent type, there is tremendous room for exploitation. It goes far beyond just unrequited affection. Beyond it being totally one sided, it's the basis for being taken advantage if one were not careful. IP: Logged |

Very very profound Ian. This is why we all need each other to explore Astrology. Even a master like IQ will never know it all as it is impossible!

That I don't know, as in this particular case id b the planet person and not the vertex. IP: Logged |

Well, *I* brought my Neptune(God, spirituality) to someone and he did NOT bring that to me.It was totally, totally one sided as far as MY purpose in his life. This is the model of the Vertex for me. Ian confirmed it as have others here!------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/
