How wide of an orb are u talking about for the venus conjunct saturn?

Is it really a long term relationship aspect? I have this as a pure DW with my SO.

My saturn conj his venus at 4deg
His saturn conj my venus at 6deg.

All i hear is how it dampens the love and affection

I like Moon sextile/trine/conjunct Venus, Venus sextile/trine/conjunct Jupiter, and Sun trine/sextile Pluto. Light, sweet, and a feeling of fate.

The ideal orb in synastry is 3degs, but 4-7 degs still counts nevertheless :]

Yes venus-saturn could do that but with other aspects can help balance that out.

My Venus is conjunct my husband's Saturn, less than 1 degree orb.

I do love the stability and in some ways thrive with it. But you know, it's a mixed blessing. Saturn even LOOKS like a ball and chain:

My favourites:

1. Sun trine Sun

2. Moon/Venus conjunct or trine

3. Mercury trine Mercury

My pet peeves in synastry:

1. Mars opposite Pluto

2. Any un-aspected personal planet... but in particular Mercury.

3. Venus/Mars conjunction

i have pluto trine moon exact conjunction with someone - still trying to figure out what this particular aspect is supposed to bring, or what it 'feels' like ... what, to you, makes it magical?
