Dont mean to toot my own horn here, but I LOVE to cook and am quite good at it~I have a Taurus moon in the 6th (that is part of 3 tight fixed tsquares involving Jupiter, Merc and Mars, oppo Uranus, Moon also oppo my Scorp asc) I have a Pisces sun in the 4th and a 0deg Venus in the 4th as well. I "heal" with love and comfort and I absolutely adore cooking for others. Rarely do I use a recipe and if I do, I tweek it and make it my own. I think it is my Taurus moon and my 4th house influences  IP: Logged |

Speaking of chefs, I think I remember finding out that Gordon Ramsay was a Leo with a Scorpio moon. Hence that attitude!IP: Logged |

Sounds exactly like me. Jupiter (Sun ruler) in Cancer in the 5th. I do have some faux pax in the kitchen but it's only because I like to experiment too much, which makes for a terrible baker, lol. I really meant Gordon Ramsay. I also meant to say "Scorpio with Leo moon", sorry! I get all these things mixed up. Soo turns out he's a Virgo moon, not Leo huh. Funny, I tried his birthdate in Astrolabe before and I remember it putting out Leo moon. Virgo fits too, I suppose, since he's overly critical with his standards. IP: Logged |

Chefs are different from cooks . . . my only friend who is a chef has a Scorpio/Libra stellium of Sun, Pluto, and Mercury . . . all opposing a moon in Taurus. IP: Logged |

My dad is a Taurus Sun and he loves cooking gourmet meals. I'm kind of spoiled because I grew up eating fancy things every day and he'd take me to a nice restaurant at least once a week (but now all I want to eat is crap because it's new and different lol). He's also really into organic ingredients, and was wayyyy into it before the whole organic food trend (and he's not even a hippie, in fact, a republican). He's a foodie, it's a hobby for him. Oooh! I LOVE to cook. I have my whole life, and have been to cooking school. Totally into organic ingredients, too. Taurus rising, Jupiter in Taurus and Mercury also in Taurus. Yeah, you could definitely call me a "foodie".IP: Logged |

My maternal grandmother was a cook for most of her career. She learned in the military and then worked in a nursing home. Though never a chef. Taurus.I have a educational background in cooking with a cooking diploma. Cancer moon. Cancer on the second house. My first job was cooking. I moved on to home care and then my last position was house keeper in a group home working with special diets.

I have no idea how to make something more palatable other than adding sugar/fat. When I'm cooking I'm too preoccupied with counting g of fiber or GI of a dish to bother about making it taste good.And then I go run out and buy a box of donuts or a box of cake mix and eat it all in one sitting. ~ Virgo Rising with Moon in Aquarius square Uranus, Sun & Mars in 4th ~ IP: Logged |

I love to cook too. I enjoy baking but cooking is my favorite. I tend to follow the recipe to the tee but can take my own creative liberties here and there when necessary. However, sticking right to the recipe and making it perfectly always makes me happy. Mars in Cancer
