Heyy all !I 've read once in an article that the people you naturally attract ( without you trying ) are related somehow to the sign/planet falling in your 8th house ... and somewhere else I read that you attract the people whom their sun signs are similar to signs of your inner planets ... so what do you know about this ? Share whatever in your mind ! I'm willing to read  ------------------

Sagittarius is on my 8th house cusp and I know a lot of Sagittarius ASC people. I wouldn't say I attract Sag people though.IP: Logged |

I attract a lot of Sagittarius sun signs friendships and Cancer sun signs romantically.Cancer Sun sign

I attract Capricorns and their suns often conjunct my moon, which is nice! If I use the equal house system my Venus falls in the 8th house and my Venus is in Cap as well.I also instantly have a nice flow with Geminis in general, which is my ASC. I don't have any close Gemini friends though, we just click on some sort of social/play level and can hang out and have fun. I have a weak spot for Gemini guys but I never get them.. ------------------

Sag is the cusp of my 8th. Usually, it's a romantic thing. I'm an Aries/Gem/Taurus combo with the personal planets, but I attract Aquarians like moths to a flame! All my life, I've had at least one close Aquarian friend. Not a thing I have to do. They always come to me.IP: Logged |

i attract so many sag mooners....two of my kids have sag moon, couple of guys I dated, my sister...sag rules 8th house with ruler conjunct my ascendantIP: Logged |

I think women attract men like their sun but aspects are more important than sign especially if they are major, close aspects, especially to the outer planets. Men the same, but their moon instead of sun. The desc is 2nd in importance and planets in the 7th h especially if conj the actual desc angle. Venus in a mans chart and mars in a womans comes next, but it tends to be more looks/physical than true emotional or personality.IP: Logged |

The 8th house idea is interesting though and something I have heard little of before. I have sag on the 8th cusp and moon and neptune in the 8th. I tend not to be attractd to sags at all especially emotionally, im too deep and intense. I DO attract neptunian types though, BUT I have venus in 5th square neptune in 8th natally and venus is my strongest planet so I really feel this aspect. I attract the lower types(square), I call this my "crap magnet". Lol. But never considered it coming from neptune in the 8th by itself. Now you have me thinking...IP: Logged |

In college, my circle of friends did consist of quite a lot of gemini's. About 7 or 8 of us had birthdays ranging from may 19th (mine) to june 12th. Then there were a few outliers. Those outliers had gemini influences. While taurus rules my 8th house, I have 3 gemini planets in the 8th house. I defintely attract a lot of individuals with gemini placements. ------------------

My eighth house cusp is libra, but I have 2 planets in Scorpio in the eighth as well. I love me some Scorpio, and I know and am friends with a lot of people who are Scorpio influenced (any personal planet in Scorpio and I will probably jive well in some way with you!) and/or Libra influenced (typically Libra moons). I am only friends with one Libra sun, and I am proud to call her one of my best friends. I love their demeanor. I love the way they are sooo considerate, I wish I could be like that more. But alas my destiny is to act more Arian (aries NN). So I think my SN in Libra has a lot to do with me attracting Libras as well. My outer planets are in Scorpio, Sag, and Capricorn. I think the outer planets stay too long in one sign to really be relevant to this discussion. Since my chart ruler is Uranus it holds more stock than the others do. IP: Logged |

Hello! I have three personal planets in the eighth house: Moon Aries 01
Mercury Aries 00
Venus Pisces 23 So far I noticed that men with Scorpio energy are attracted to me, with mars in Scorpio seeming to be the likeliest. My lover is a Scorpio Mars. Another man, also with Scorpio Mars, has proposed marriage to me in exchange of a substantial amount of money (while knowing that I was still committed to my lover!) When in a room with a Scorpio Mars, even amongst people, I can always feel their sideglancing eyes stripping me to my soul, poring through my every nerve. I notice this because of my sensitive Pisces Venus and Mars who likes to run away from attention sometimes. But admittedly, I am also quite attracted to them. Their sexual style is irreplaceable (unless with another Scorpio Mars! Haha just kidding). IP: Logged |

What an interesting thread! I've been begging this question forever but couldn't seem to find the words.With all the people I meet I noticed they all have an earth, air, water combination. And not surprisingly I attributed that to my Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune placements in my 7th house. It's ruled by Sagittarius, and I love Sags but don't attract a lot of them in my life. I have however had a period of time where every male I met was a mixture of Scorpio and Sagittarius... man, do they get butthurt easily. I do tend to gravitate towards and muscle in with Capricorns, (which rules my empty 8th house), but as I age I've mellowed out and don't see the point anymore. I feel like my placements are set up so I'm always the one doing the pursuing and sometimes I need a break and would like to be the one pursued for long periods of time, please. Currently I've met a lot of water/air people, specifically Libra/Scorpios, and Aquarius/Pisces. I tend to "get" fire signs but not "like" them or we don't bond in a cohesive way, really. I'm not sure why since one, I'm an Aries, and two, Sag rules my 7th house. IP: Logged |

The people I naturally attract usually have emphasis on Scorp/Pluto & Aqua/Uranus, likely since I have Sun 8th trine Pluto sq Uranus.
Then also, for example, we both have Venus/Pluto or Mars/Pluto, etc.
Also I've had progressed Venus in Aqua for forever & sa.Mars in Scorp for same amount of time.
I'm still not sure on the solar arc for attraction but I know that the progressed attraction counts.
The last guy had p.Sun conj my n.Moon/Venus, p.Moon conj my p.Venus, p.Venus conj my n.Sun, n.Moon conj my p.Venus. But I ended it.IP: Logged |

I wonder if it makes a difference that Scorpio actually rules the 8th house naturally - like maybe you attract them in droves because of it. I also just thought of how I attract Capricorn/Scorpios and realized Scorpio naturally rules the 8th house. I just wonder why it plays that big of a part in attraction, when there's nothing in it. Well, this theory explains all the Fish I've attracted in the past. Pisces is my 8th house. I always just assumed it was my moon sign. I'm not even remotely compatible with Pisces sun though, unfortunately.In my boyfriend's case, his ascendant is my DEscendant and I think that was what attracted us in that crowded environment in which we met.
