One’s destiny is wrapped up with any planet which conjuncts the MC. The MC is our face to society, our public face. One’s chart is one’s destiny to a large degree. Some people may balk at this. However, we accept destiny in earthbound things such as height. A basketball player must be tall. A pianist must have certain kinds of hands if he is to achieve high levels in classical music. We each have different earth bound gifts. The same thing is true for Astrology. We have certain gifts and certain liabilities. The chart does not make it so.It highlights it. It points out our strengths and our weaknesses. What would one pay for a clear view of oneself? People pay thousands in therapy and receive little, in my experience. The chart can tell all at a very small price. However, I am getting off my point which is one’s destiny. If one has a planet conjunct the MC, one was created to show that planet to the world. That is a simple sentence but true. If you are the bearer of a planet conjunct the MC, your destiny is to take this planet to others. The MC is a giving position. One was made to be a giver and a giver of the traits of that particular planet.

The MC is where you shine, so a planet there is very important. Its nature, which house it rules, its sign.

I have sun/MC with sun ruling my 5th of creativity and I write a lot soooo....it fits. And it's in aquarius and I write about astrology. How cool is that?

Interesting Diana. The MC is so very true and so fascinating like a destiny point!
I realized this when I saw how much of a Moon conj MC I was. The planet conj the MC will be seen by others. They may or may not like it but it will be seen.

I edited to add my sun sign, probably while you were typing your response, but it's aquarius. It's trine Pluto, sextile mars, neptune and jupiter.

Thank you.I have a Cancer moon .It has no aspects closer than 8 degrees so it is more naked than a highly aspected moon. That is why it sticks out as much as it does, I think.
Thank you for your kind words Diana. I am just coming to accept this about myself i.e that I am more emotionally naked than the average bear

Which planet hits it at 8 degrees? With the luminaries, you *can* count 8 degree aspects, but not everyone does.

I am fascinated by this. Yes, he will give the world beauty--somehow. He may work in the beauty industry such as in fashion or as a model or he may simply be a thing of beauty. What do you think?

I think it really reflects me writing about astrology and writing in general. I also am writing a novel not based on astrology. Maybe it will be published...

I feel as if it is unaspected but not totally but I do feel that naked kind of feeling which I hate. However, it is my destiny I guess

My sun conjuncts my moon--8 degrees
Moon conj mars-- 9 degrees
Moon trine Saturn--8 degrees.

Some master astrologers call it unaspected so I think it is but not as stark as one greater than 10 degrees I suppose.

What do you think Diana?

I had to chuckle. He asked me once, "Am I a pretty boy?" Although, I do not think anyone could see him working in the fashion/beauty industry. I would describe him as more distinguishably handsome. (Pisces Venus, MC, NN)

I suppose he needs to keep his ego in check!

I sometimes get like that with the automatic writing, but I usually just start to feel really energized, happy and alive -- in other words, Sun qualities. I always know my topic, but I don't know exactly what I'll say, it just comes out. It builds momentum.

Do you feel moon-like while or after writing? Like, feel soulful and satisfied emotionally? I do feel that too, because writing satisfies me and allows me to tap into my emotions, but I feel more vital and energized than anything. What's the standout quality for you?
