I was wondering what would give someone a magnetic aura or charm in a natal chart. Personal experiences are welcome as well. I want to be magnetic, but alas my lone Taurus moon as the only grounding force in my personal planets can do so much. I have Pluto in the 5th as well, but just by a hair. Sigh...

ETA: If you've had personal experiences with "magnetic" aspects, do you find these people/you attract EVERYTHING (as in good and bad) or are there aspects that define what you attract?

There are lots of ways for someones chart to show a sort of magnetic aura around them. Some are for good, some are for bad.

From what I have noticed, anyone that has some sort of strong air influence, or air stellium usually will have some sort of social magnetism about them. It's something they can easily turn on or off as well. Outside of that, I have not pondered this enough to put thoughts together onto to paper. All I can say is if you look at ones chart you can (usually) see what sort of (if any) magnetic quality they would have about them.

hannarama - I think you do have a magnetic chart! Because you have a mix of air & fire.. these elements are more obviously magnetic and charming.

Water and earth have a more quiet charm.

Hm I have pluto in the 5th house, mars square neptune and eros conjunct ascendant.

My dad is the most magnetic person I know with pluto conjunct mars and venus in leo first house. People are naturally drawn to him. Hes has 1000's of friends, His moon conjuncts neptune in libra. Hes been sick lately and so many people are going out of there way to help him with literally anything he needs. You literally can not stay mad at him, hes like a giant puppy. I'm actually a bit jealous of him since I attract more enemies then friends.

Pluto aspect to personal planets or on an angle are magnetic. Neptune is also usually involved, either in aspect to personal planets or on an angle.

Sun conjunct venus is charming, which can be magnetic.

Really? that's gotta be the work of the Venus-pluto alone. Because i have Sun-pluto and Mars-Pluto. I'm not magnetic to ppl at all lol

I mean, I understand all the signs are magnetic in their own way but the kind of "magnetism" I'm envisioning is those people who others are naturally drawn to, and whom they can be fascinated by for a long period of time. The mysteriousness mixed with a quiet confidence that is unimposing. That's a healthy kind of magnetism to me that I don't think I possess as an Fire/Air girl lol. To me, others are drawn to me simply because I'm outgoing. I don't believe I'm mysterious to others at all, although I do bottle up my emotions a lot others (re: WATER SIGNS! LOL) can read them/care about them.

Not to be cynical but I'm an earth sign after all. The green magnets are usually cliped to a pin or placed inside a wallet. They can make the most ugly or boring guy very charming.

Pluto and Uranus, Neptune aspecting each other, the ASC, what?

In my own personal chart, there's:

-Sun square Neptune
-Venus square Neptune
-Moon opposition Pluto
-Saturn & Neptune sextile Pluto (7th, and 5th house respectively)
-Saturn conjunct Uranus (7th house)
-Uranus conjunct Neptune (both in the 7th house)
-Uranus sextile MC
-Moon trine Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

I do have Sun conjunct Venus, it's just that I've recently started associating that with "Libra" ever since someone here (can't remember who) told me it's a Libra-ish aspect. I personally don't feel compelled to know them or fixate on them like I notice I do with other sign patterns. To me personally Sun conj. Venus just adds an extra dose of kindness to one's chart. But you know, to each their own. Someone may find that compelling if they're used to being mean all the time lol.

I think you have to activity use your charms to attract people. Haven't you ever seen girls I've seen with "bitchh face syndrome"? I would never talk to them unless they approached me, regardless of how attractive I may find them.

This is the truth. I'm not making this up.

I was walking down the sidewalk in Manhattan one day when a psychic sitting at a table on the sidewalk on the beautiful day invited me to sit down.

Sure. It was lunch time and I needed some entertainment. So, she said she could improve my aura and popularity. I asked how. She said I was deficient in the color gold. And that she can help me become more popular. She said everyone would like me more and I would be more prosperous in my business. OK.

But she said that there's a price. She needs four ounces of gold. Except that gold back then was $1,800 an ounce I got my entertainment for the day

Depends on who you're around. I personally don't give a f*ck about how rich a guy is. In fact, if there's a guy flashing money around me, I'm turned off. You can't BUY my company, dude. I'm not an escort.

It could have a libra feel, but it could also have a taurus feel. I take it at the pure energy of the planets involved, so sun is very vital and venus is very finesse, when you put them together you can get a charming person, and charming is part of magnetism. A lot depends on the signs and other aspects, but sun/venus is a nice aspect to have in ones natal.

Magnetism is probably down to the synastry you have with someone.

But in a person...I think Pluto aspects are important. I often find Scorpio Risings very magnetic. Scorpio in general.
But I must say that I usually keep away from very magnetic people. It's a quality I don't feel comfortable being around.

Woah.

Please don't take things that seriously. And please don't get this upset over some bit of nonsense. It was entirely a joke, and not directed at anybody or at anyone's expense.

Nobody's buying anybody. That is odious.

The fact of the matter is that there are way too many superficial people in the world and I wished more women were like you.

Please, please, please. Chill ok?

Okay, so stuff gets lost over the internet. I get it.

Of course, she can have a strong opinion. I applaud that entirely.

My wife has a killer strong will about everything. I dote on that type of personality.

Just that recognize that it was a joke and that I had no ill intent. Just a friendly advise to not read too literally into it.

I crack jokes. I'm a Capricorn. Okay, it may not be funny to everybody, but let's just be cordial about it and not tense.

Zero disrespect was intended.

Should I apologize now? I'll go that far.

OK I apologize. I don't know what for, but I will anyway in the spirit of goodwill. Even the Original Poster got my humour right away!!

Now do you need my head chopped off and placed on a silver platter as well?
