There's an interesting article on the net...internet....that talks about 12th house and sixth house being career, and 10th and 4th being our destiny towards career...

So what brings this up for me is that I have a 12th house taurus north node and a venus in aquarius conjunct mc square too the north node....and I am like wandering around as odyseus did.

What do you think this means? I'm currently pursueing accounting...and taurus and that axis rules details....and I have saturn conjunct the south node ins corpio which rules taxes and capricorn stuff...

Isn't that insane? I chose my path before knowing about astrology....but I'm really passionate about computers mostly, and strange far out spiritualities...

anyone got any input on the north node in the 12th house in taurus and vocation is my main question?

What catches my eye more than the MC axis sq the nodes is Venus in square.
6th is details, tho, not h12..
I don't think one necessarily has to do NN as their career, just has to be balanced in their life with their SN, nice even balance. Accountant satisfies SN Scorp in 6th since you're dealing with other people's money in an analytical manner, serving them. So I get that. Maybe it comes naturally.
My concern would be...you have NN ruler sq the nodes. Well 1st off what houses does Venus rule because they need to be kept in check, you may go overboard with them and that throws you off course. Please don't say you have Venus sq Pluto. NN/SN rulers in square is tough.
OK so Taurus NN in 12th. Taurus is securing your finances, your income. Back to basics, back in your body, relishing having a body, embracing your sensuality, could also be gardening, cooking, hedonistic pleasure. And NN 12th is often a seclusion of some sort, howevah, you have NN ruler conj MC so that may not be so for you since MC brings you to the attn of others. 12th is also creative matters. You have to play around with the associations. I recommend reading this and this. And see if anything clicks for you in that area. Remember to combine.

Thanks Lonake.....

I have Libra in the fifth house and Venus rules it....in the 10th conjunct MC in Aquarius, and I have Sagittarius in the seventh house.

That makes really good sense. Someone else told me I was going to work in retail at a monastic institution.

Venus is square to saturn in scorpio conjunct north node...venus is pretty afflicted...it only trines my ascendant in gemini and it trines vesta in libra....so I take breaks from that libra fifth house.....

Venus is also conjunct mars in pisces...which is trine pluto in scorpio in the fifth/sixth...

I'm going to take a look at those links now...

The weird thing is even though I chose accounting it was cause I didn't know what else to do. I still don't....I think that's my moon in pisces in the tenth house too..pisces and virgo are intercepted in the 4th and 10th house for me...the shaman said this meant that they trickled out into the entire chart.

Planets in intercepted signs are said to be harder to access and utilize, but that is just one view.

Well I do enjoy all forms of art and engage all forms of art...sort of a jack of all trades....but doesn't look like i'm going to be able to pursue another path in terms of vocation....

Thanks Lonake...I wonder if I'll ever end up a monk. I'm going to try acting next year...and see where that takes me since I enjoy making people laugh Jim Carey style..

Oh, vOcation, I thought it said vAcation. I was like, "ou, yes, sign me up!"

Leo rules my Twelfth House. I've always been drawn to teaching because it involves being in front of people, being the centre of attention - LEADING a class. I kinda thought about being an actor, but that's just...no, chance of success is like, dead. Then, just to flatter myself, I'd imagine if I was some runway model, walking down the catwalk with everyone looking at and taking pictures of me.

This has been a show of RedScorp's vanity...

^ Are you a Virgo ASC? If so Leo H12 is the hidden side that wants to be noticed but is unsure of the reaction, your weak spot.
That's how Virgo ASC can surprise you, they whip out that Leo H12 and the-show-is-on

No sir, Chironrising sir! I think I'm a li'l too dark to blush noticeably!

Of course what would I know? I can't quite see my own cheeks to see my own blush.
