And of course square Ascendant. But anyway, others must have experienced this transit, right, although not with Neptune in Pisces until just the recent past. I am curious about peoples' experiences with this if there is anyone on this board currently going through this, with the Gemini-Sag polarity on the 1st and 7th. I had been thinking about this transit as mainly affecting my asc, and I have been needing an awful lot of sleep (enjoying it, too) and feeling very worn out. I do feel my anchors in life kind of slipping away but at least I'm not panicked about it like under a Pluto transit or a nervous wreck like under a Uranus transit. I'm just kind of watching it all but feeling disoriented in a way. It's hard to separate this Neptunian stuff from just the entry of Neptune into Pisces which increased the recall of dreams and psychic-type phenomena in lots of people. But to get to the stupid Descendant, well, there is this guy. I had forgotten about that! I'm in my late 50's and really not up for this sort of stuff, but he's made his way into my head and I'm wondering if my experience of him is completely covered by some glamourous facade or if there is something real here possibly. Only time will tell, but astrology is illuminating, too. Any comments welcome! I'm new to posting here but I've loved reading this board for a while. IP: Logged |

Welcome! I'm not smart enough about astrology to give you a good, detailed answer to your question. I just wanted to confirm that my experience, and that of friends, is that the entry of Neptune into Pisces has "increased the recall of dreams and psychic-type phenomena." Best wishes sorting this out, with the man you are thinking of. IP: Logged |

Hi Gemma, welcome! tNeptune will square my ASC/DSC axis at 3° Gemini/Sagittarius at the end of April. I am sorry I cannot help you on this, but I will be going through the same thing, so at least know that you're not alone! tNeptune currently opposes my Moon. I think I'm not in a very clear place emotionally right now, so I try not to get seriously involved with anyone emotionally speaking, because I know I could be disillusioned. Here is the description of tNeptune square ASC, from astro.com (I guess you've already read it, but oh well):
quote: Neptune square Ascendant: Ego losses End of April 2012 until mid February 2014: At this time in your life your relationships with others are likely to become confused and difficult. You may encounter persons who try to dissuade you from a course of action that you have been committed to for years, with the result that you become confused about the direction of your life. The other person's intentions in this may be either good or bad. This is not a good time to become involved in any kind of contractual or business negotiations. Even if the people whom you are dealing with are completely honest - and with this influence they may very well be dishonest - you will find it difficult to think clearly about your own goals and objectives in the negotiations. As a result you will not get what you want from the procedure. On the metaphysical plane there is a lesson to be learned from this influence. The less involved your ego is in a situation, the more freedom you will have to do what you want. By bringing about a loss, this influence often shows us that our attachment to material objects or to certain personal relationships has prevented us from being free. So it is not usually the influence itself that causes losses or confusion, but your ego's relentless drive to maintain the game it is playing. And this may be happening at your expense, when viewed from a higher perspective. When your ego takes over in this way, you set your priorities incorrectly, and you are not likely to be successful. The strategy with this influence is to flow through it without any particular set plan of action nor any special objective. Simply treat this time as a learning experience. If a relationship doesn't work out, ask yourself why you got into it in the first place. If you attract dishonest people or if your dishonesty has brought you trouble, ask yourself what purpose this served in your life. Often you will discover that you were trying to protect something that really wasn't worth protecting.
It scares me a bit, but I guess it won't be as horrible as tNeptune square nMars, which I had the past two years or so. Depression, low energy, very confusing time.. So glad it's over. Anyway, good luck with this transit, and keep your eyes wide open!

Hooray! I Pisces. Unabashedly. I'm a Cap sun, Pisces moon. I'm also LOVING this Neptune transit so far...even with the weird dreams, the other experiences compensate for it. IP: Logged | |
